Halloween Adventure Shop

Halloween Adventure in NYC's East Village is like a vacation for the imagination. First if all It's huge! With two floors that go all the way from 808 Broadway through the building to 4th Ave. The store is loaded with a unique and creative presentation of eclectic, funky, fun and magical products. You'll find costumes, masks, hats, makeup, wigs, magic... a great selection of goofy gags and novelties ... and a separate store for "the Dark of Heart" called Gothic Renaissance. Prices were reasonable, selection incredible - and the store staff was a large part of the fun of shopping in this store. Whether pierced, tattoo-ed, spiked, fanged, or costumed... the sales people (Fausto?, Stitch?) couldn't have been more cool!

I bought my costume here first to find out that I paid $40 more than it was online plus tax. It had a manufacturer's defect and the owner (some guy named Tony??) with a very bad attitude acted as if I had done something wrong by bringing back. Yelled at the sales lady and told her that I could only exchange it for another costume for equal value or more. No store credit is issued either. I had to get something right there and then. So I spent hours trying to find something appropriate in my size. I finally found an acceptable costume which by the way was also $40 cheaper online.

Save yourself the grief. You can't try on the costumes anyway. Visit the store if you want to look at the costume in person and then order your costume online, at least you can return it and get your money back if you wish.

I love going to this store. It is absolutely the best place to go to for your Halloween costume if want those great costumes. It is amazing how this store is open all year round and not just for Halloween. They have everything you will neeed for you costume. They sells tons of stuff for people of all ages and it is just fun sometimes to walk around the store and see the neat stuff they have.

This has to be one of the biggest Halloween store i have been to and its open all year round. They sell tons of costumes, wigs, makeup, accessories, and magic tricks. The costumes are amazing, they are not your typically cheap plastic. The have tons of rubber masks also and the staff are really helpful in trying to get you want you are looking for.

We visited this store shortly before Halloween this year and found the best costumes. If you don't want the plain old Batman or Spiderman costumes for your kid or yourself, you should check here. My son picked out a costume and I still don't know what it's supposed to be, but it sure was scary and was a big hit on Halloween. I found a great witch mask and hat and I was happy. The prices were pretty good and it was very crowded.

With fall just about here it's a great time to start thinking about your Halloween plans. What better place to go than the Halloween Adventure Shop. They have costumes to fit all tastes and sizes. You can be a superhero, a film character or something totally unique and unexpected. They have great masks and wigs as well as makeup to transform you. Who'd have thought a Halloween shop would be open year round??

They have all types of masks and assorted horrible things here that are perfect for halloween. I'd definitely get here about 1 week before halloween hits because they usually run out of the good costumes and trinkets. The store was packed on the night before halloween. Prices are about average, but they definitely have one of the better selections in the city. Go here first and get your costume!

Why has no one made a Halloween town themed costume shope yet? Anyway, this is an interesting store, one that probably couldn't stay open year round outside Manhattan. It's like one of those temporary places that opens up in the mall for two months every year, only better. It has a decent mask selection and a variety of prostheses. It saved my ass when I need to get fake blood for a movie I was filming.

This is one of the greatest stores of its kind, for all of your holloween and gift needs. They have a great deal on halloween costumes year round, and they also have masks that you won't find anywhere else. The sizes will run from infants to extra large adult sizes, so there is always something for everyone.
