Marta is truly incredible. Her knowledge, passion, care and concern for her clients goes above and beyond! She knows her stuff and has completely changed my skin. When I first went to her, I had large pores, oily skin and some acne scaring. After my first facial, my pore got substantially smaller and my skin felt tighter. Overall, my skin was radiant and glowing. And the more treatments I get, the better my skin looks.

Marta takes care in understanding your skin and she knows her products (which are all natural and smell great.) The facial includes both a microdermabrasion and smooth beam laser, which is something you don't find at many places. Not to mention the great masks, lotions and cleansers.

Overall, I highly recommend having a facial at Skin Laser Solutions and getting the skin you've always dreamed of!

I recently went to Skin Laser Solutions, for a facial with April, and was pleasantly surprised by the results. Having always been a sceptic about the effectiveness of these treatments, I was blown away by how much my skin texture, tone, and fine lines improved. I highly suggest this facial to anyone who is looking to turn back the hands of time.

You can have a new face after just one visit to Skin Laser. I just went & saw April, she was amazing. My skin has not looked this good since I was a baby! She talked me through every step & every product she used on my uber sensitive skin. I had a previous disaster after a micro visit to an asian salon in LA where they practically scraped my face off & my face didn't recover for 2 weeks!

April was very gentle & I didn't even have any redness after!! She's very knowledgeable about all skin treatments & products. I give her an A+++.

The chocolate scrub is out of this world yummy & your skin will be glowing when you walk out. You wont want to wear an ounce of make up for a week. This relaxing & rejuvinating treatment is soo much better than getting needles in your face.

I am a model and actor, so having great skin is a must! I have had many facials before, but April was one of the best. She really took her time and treated my face and skin with expertise. My face was so clear and glowing when I walked out! I didn't want to wear make-up for days! My skin looked so fresh and radiant, I swear I looked a little younger! She was so informative about skin and products and she answered all of my questions I had about maintaining amazing skin! I was so sick of waxing and ingrowns! April did a consultation and gave me a sample. The area where she lasered just one time 6 weeks ago still has not fully grown back. I went for my first full session and although it is painful, April did everything to make me comfortable and not embarassed- which can be difficult with your undies down! For anyone out there who is frustrated with shaving and waxing go and get a consultation with April and you will not be sorry!

I have been going to Skin Laser Solutions for almost a year. At first I was very hestiant becuse I don't like to take off my make up. I had some acne as a teenager and am very self conscious about some of the scarring that was left on my skin. Well, I met with Life at Skin Laser and he really made me feel comfortable. He looked at my skin and told me step by step what to expect in terms of the process and results. Life you were right! My skin does look noticeablely different AND I feel so much more confident. Now I go out of the house and am just wearing minimal make up instead of full foundation. I love it! Thank you Life for making me feel so great. (P.S. the coffee scrub to take off my make up is so relaxing!)

I loved my experience at Skin Laser Solutions! I usually dont get facials, but now I cant wait to get another one! My skin feels amazing; it looks younger and brighter! April is the best. She is very gentle and takes her time and makes sure every pore and wrinkle gets enough attention! The laser treatment is painless and really shows results. And the relaxing mask at the end is the perfect finishing touch. A+

i started laser hair removal at SLS about 4 months ago and i couldnt be happier with the results. i still have 2 or 3 more appointments left (which im really really upset about b/c i love April and Martalena! i tend to go early to my appointments just to spend more time with them because they are total sweethearts!) but i barely have any hair left... im now trying to figure out other areas to laser just so i can continue seeing April and Martalena on a regular basis.

My skin is tighter and smoother. My pores are smaller. The oil field that once was my face has no more shine. Marta is amazing. If you want to be pampered and feel like a princess, go to Bliss, if you actually want your skin to look better, see Marta.

Treating acne can be challenging and expensive but just when I was about to loose all hope I discovered Marta. After years (4 years to be exact) of various topical treatments and oral medication (including Accutane) Marta was able cure my adult acne issues. My friends, collagues and fiance noticed an immediate improvement in my skin after the first treatment. After three treatments she cured existing acne and prevented the development of new cysts. My improvements with each treatment are so remarkable that friends who have their own facialists are asking me for Marta's information. There are no words to express how grateful I am to Marta for not only improving my skin but my self confidence and esteem!!!! She is THE greatest facialist!!!!!

Marta was great. She knew exactly what my skin needed and told me what I could do on my own to imrove it (vitamins, etc). The moonbeam and micro derm are amazing. I can honestly say I see a big improvement. I will be back.

I looked into several other places - one very high end place and Marta was the most knowledgable and she has been great. she exlpained how the laser works. told me what areas might work and what might not (I and very fair) and even did a test on me so i would know what it felt like (it isn't painful, but get the over the counter pain cream and it will be a breeze)

I've been going to Marta for years now and have nothing but great things to say about her. Not only is she an expert at hair removal, she's an amazing cosmetician and always does her best to accommodate my schedule. Also her studio has an inviting laid-back atmosphere in the hip Chelsea Hotel.

Marta is bar none the best facialist I have been too. She truely cares for her clients and treats everyone with care and concern regarding their particular problem. I am hoping she stays in NY forever because I will never be able to find the kind of service and excellence she delivers in any other business in New York. She truly has given me hope on my problematic skin when everyone else was doubtful. There is no miracle when it comes to acne/acne scars but with her care and specialty she really helps bring out the best in everyones skin. I am recommending for my boyfriend to go have a facial since he doesnt want the over the top spa and wants someone who really just wants to perform the best facial skin service in New York. I've struggled with acne for over 10 yrs and have finally found someone who cares more about me than my money! Marta is the best I have ever found!!! In less than 3 months, my skin is noticeably different. My friends are complimenting me on my skin--that's a new one for me! Marta is all about results, but not the quick way, which is what Dr.s usually do. I've done every pill imaginable and facial known to man, but Marta's facials and laser treatment have been doing the trick. She recommended a weekly treatment for me with gradual results since I need to educate my skin to produce good, healthy skin again. I loved that she explained that this will take time--esp after over 10yrs with it. This was something Dr's never explained since they just put me on pills and tried selling me their products. Marta is different and I highly recommend her!! She is worth every penny!

Marta is a skilled facialist and astute businesswoman. She often gives free facials and will give you everything she thinks your face needs for one reasonable price. I receive smoothbeam laser treatment, but I also get microdermabrasion and a facial each time, for no extra cost. She is always looking for innovative treatments and will tailor her methods to your specific facial needs. And she is fun to talk to!

Marta is the best! very thorough, experienced, and professional.
i've been going to her for 6 months now and every time it's a treat. the range of her expertise is wide, which allows her to comprehensevely evaluate and treat your skin not just 'hair removal' or just 'cleaning'. the quality of her work is also better because she uses top of the line machines (laser, sunbeam). and finally, i want to mention consistency-- every single time you go to Marta, you come out feeling good about what she did and the money spent there because you see increasingly better results. i want to point out that this place is not like the big/chain locales where you go and order off a 'menu' and get whatever. Marta treats everyone based on their specific needs and she is there to suggest/advise what will help your skin look/feel/be better and healthier and she nails it every time!

arta is awesome. She is treating my acne scars with a series of facials, micro-dermabrasion and SmoothBeam laser treatments. Ive only had 3 sessions and already Im seeing that I have softer skin, less acne and my acne scars are starting to fade. Marta gives the most thorough facials Ive ever had. She really spends a lot of time getting out all the blackheads and other gunk Ive accumulated over the years. The micro-dermabrasion and laser treatments work together to sand away the top layer and help stimulate collagen growth- getting rid of my scars from inside and out. The laser doesnt hurt at all. It just feels like a warm sensation and my skin is a little red for an hour or two. The micro-dermabrasion is also painless and my skin glows right away. I highly recommend going to see Marta shell take good care of you.

Loved the space loved the attitude she made me laugh through out most of the session which was very comforting for me since I had made up in my mind that this procedure would be painful. After a few visits, I'm finally hairless in those problem spots women seem to grow hair. Marta was just amazing -- I had no side effects whatsoever which can be a problem at unprofessional places and I'm smooth and soft. I also felt a bit like a bohemian going to the chelsea hotel. It's a beautiful building. Many of my friends have gone to see them and everyone loves them. I tried another place first, but my skin was red for weeks. I never had any redness at all after the treatments. Love these gals!
