Guercio & Sons Inc

Guercio's brings old world charm to buffalo, that is exciting and delicious. The ladies at the deli are tough italian women, so don't mess around! However it is completely worth the trip. On an average visit I spend around $20 and leave there with fresh fruits, and vegetables. imported meats and great odds and ends for cooking. It's always an experience to shop there. I suggest forgetting about Wegmans or Tops when it comes to herbs or deli because Guercio's has them beat in regards to both price and quality.
A lifetime favorite!

Great neighborhood store! it reminds me of the "marketas" in Latin America and Italy. Excellent produce, always fresh. Also they deliver to small local businesses.

This place is great! The deli is delicious and cheap and my kids love the free cookie they get every time we go! The people are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! A+

Guercio's has everything you need if you're Italian and everything you need to feel Italian if you're not. Their fresh produce will be sprawled out on the sidewalk during the summer months and is usually the freshest and cheapest around. The shop isn't fancy, but there are a lot of great imported products to be had at great prices.

Take a number for the deli, since it's always busy. Get there early in the day if you want to get some of the rolls they carry from Le Metro Bakery - priced lower than anything you can buy directly from Le Metro and they're the meatiest sub rolls you've ever had. The perfect vessel for your deli purchases.

Whether you're shopping for 12 different fishes or just some linguine and cheap marinara, Guercio's has you covered. Check their hours - they close earlier than a supermarket and bring plenty of "excuse me"s since it can get a little cramped in there. But that's to be expected, because greatness draws crowds.

CONS: Crowded at times, and if you work late, you're out of luck.

From a family who is off-the-boat Sicilian, my wife's family shopped at Guercios. Just the smell alone is amazing. You can get authentic items here that you're definitely not going to find in Tops and their deli is much cheaper and way better. It's like a step back in time when you walk around in here. Something to be said when the salespeople talk in Italian.

Gurcios is the best around for produce and imported foods They also carry locally made italian products. The deli is awesome & the sandwiches they make on the spot are the freshest. Authentic old world atmosphere, Gurcios will transport you back in time to a world that was more personal, friendly, and simple. Don't expect to scan your own groceries here!

I think Guercio and Sons is one of the great gems of inner city Buffalo. They have great, inexpensive produce, great deli meats and a wide variety of imported everything! I try to go shop their at least twice per week because I can't get enough of their items!
