They kept my old Volvo running as cheaply as possible. Unless it was a question of safety, they discouraged me from sinking more money into that car. When they had to fix something, they did a great job. Now that my Subaru Forester isn't so new anymore, I get to see them again! As always, they are well informed, insightful diagnosticians who are also excellent mechanics. If you are looking for a garage where you'll get great service and be treated like you have a brain, this is the place. Two cars and 12 years later, I highly recommend Borough Park.

My girlfriend needed new brake pads and I saw a commercial for 29.99 installation and pads for 4 wheels so I told her to go there since my job was only a few blocks away. So she does and then calls me and says they are charging her $800.00 for JUST the rear brake pads and rotors. She had already paid so there was nothing that could be done. I went in there and asked the guy how could a $100 job cost 800 and he started telling me about how bad the rotors were. If you are REPLACING something it does not matter how bad the old ones are. Definately scam artist mechanics who need to be kept away from!

The mechanics at this establishment could never figure out any car problem without using a computer, which seems suspicious since to use the computer they charge you sixty-five dollars extra. So now the only time I use them is if I need a computer to check if my car has problems, like before I will go for inspection.
