I am a big music lover and everything from instruments to his suggestions are top quality.

I am in 10th grade and I have been to Monicos a few times now and when or if I ever need anything music related, I go to him!

Pros: BEST PLACE IN NEW YORK

.

After my cello rental from Monaco's, I moved to NYC and tried to rent one here. In NYC, not only were the rentals horrible, they were much more expensive and not as well set up as Monaco's rentals.

So when it came time to buy a cello (a big investment!) I bought one while home in Buffalo. After calling to find out whether their selection of cellos were in stock (I had to wait about two days for a new shipment to come in) I went in and tried them all out, and left with a VERY nice carved Romanian cello for a reasonable price. The cello sounds great, and is VERY well set up. Mark Monaco is excellent at setting up instruments, and that's what really helps to make playing fun and easy! I definitely recommend this place - when renting and purchasing, I've always been treated right by them and I've never felt ripped off.
