Excellent place. They did a terrific job with a complicated book project. The fine quality was matched by their patience and thoughtfulness. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely horrifying customer service! They wasted my time, my materials and couldn't even get the job done! I will never go back there again! \r

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. I have lived and worked in Park Slope for almost 20 years and there has never been any improvement in the service or prices here. Thank God for home copiers and faxes so I rarely had to use them. But since Park Heights Stationers on Flatbush closed (glad to Have walked a few blocks to get great, honest service) and I needed to copy some oversized items and mail an oversized envelope, I reluctantly used them today. WHAT A RIPOFF!!! Charged me 50% fee on the postage - I am not kidding. The guy who owns the store, Bob, is a misanthrope who personally ripped me off when I first went there 20 years ago to make business cards. DO NOT USE THEM!!

I'm a copy center junkie--I've probably used every one in lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. I live in the Heights but I go out of my way to use Park Slope Copy. I need and use a variety of printers--color, black and white and large format--they have them all, and provide easy self-service access. So does FedEx Kinko's, but the difference is that these guys offer excellent technical help when needed, whereas Kinko's (especially the one on Court St) could care less. Trey, Jacob, and Hannah all know what they're doing and try to help, even when the store is busy. Highly recommended.

Pros: up-to-date technology, concerned staff

Cons: very busy sometimes

Went in to send a little something home to mom. Purchased the document sized envelope there for $0.30 and the mailing cost $2.40. Then they charged me a $0.73 fee on top of that for buying the postage there. That fee was more than the tax on the entire transaction. Making matters worse, although there is no sign up in the store (which I pointed out), the minimum on credit card purchases is $7.50. So I bought some envelopes and legal pads that I don't need but come on, this is ridiculous. Either disclose the fee and charge it or if the purchase meets your minimum requirements(which you also need to display prominently, then waive the damn fee. It's only 9:44am on monday morning and already I feel ripped off. I'll never use this store's services again.

Cons: Outrageous credit card fees, no bags for purchases????

I went in to ship my computer to the west coast. First, the guy behind the counter dropped my computer while lifting it, after I specifically told him twice that it was fragile. Instead of saying sorry, he commented that it was really heavy. Then, after he says it is slated to arrive the following Tuesday, it turns out it's actually not scheduled to arrive until Thursday, which, since I need the computer to work, is a huge problem. While the reviews on this site seem overall positive, the Yelp reviews for this business are extremely unfavorable.

Customer service is excellent. They're not satisfied until the customer is. Bob, the owner, is understanding and very reasonable to deal with if you have any kind of issue, special requirements, etc. Courier service is reliable. There's a graphic designer on staff. Trey, who handles most of the jobs esp. the emailed ones - is very thorough and has a good eye for any necessary adjustments. He is courteous, helpful, a pleasure to deal with. Been using Park Slope Copy for many years and they only get better. They know the needs out there, and set themselves up to address them. Computers for customers are set up in the store, to access files etc. The fact that they have a shipping depot right upstairs, is very convenient. All they're missing now is the coffee machine, to make it a perfect stop-in place!

I run a small business out of my apartment and use this store for many things: printing, scanning, mailing, etc. The staff is energetic and competent and have helped me out of many a jam. The computer guys really know their stuff.
Yes, the store is often crowded, but that seems to me to be a good indicator, not a bad one.
These guys have been here for many years but continue to stay fresh. Merging the shipping and copy centers creates a better synergy and the self serve computer and print options are especially helpful (and up-to date)
A real asset to the neighborhood.

Pros: open 7 days, convenient, many services, friendly

First of all, everyone in parkslope seems to think they are kings they expect everything to be perfect at the price they want and to be ready when they want it. Ive used this shop many times to know that it gets very crowded, the workers might be young but they work hard and do a good job. Park slope citizens need to get out of their little bubble. Your not special you dont deserve sh!t handed to you on golden platters. Personally this shop is one of the best in the area.

Pros: convenient and not some sellout chain like staples

.

I've been going ot this place since they first opened. I was curious how a business like this this could survive. Over 20 something years later - they're still there. I use them more than I even realize. The current staff is friendly, courteous and respectful. I hope they are around for many more years to come.

Pros: professional work - love the cat

Cons: What are the drawbacks?

I will never go to this place again. I went to Park Slope Copy Center to have two faxes sent and was charged $6.50 when the week before I had been charged $4.50 for the exact same job. Besides, $6.50 for two two-page faxes??? Be warned that prices are arbitrary at this place. Also, I had to wait extra time to get my fax confirmations while the counter girl yakked it up with a co-worker.

Since I believe in supporting local business, most of the time I see no reason to go to Staples when I could go to the Park Slope Copy Center for my copying needs. They have a couple of self-service copy machines and a counter where you can have all of your fancier or larger or color projects done. It's a small place and you may have to wait in line, but the service behind the counter is good and pretty fast. My only gripe is that I recently realized they don't seem to have a very large selection of colored paper if you are looking for a specific color.
