This small little restaurant is one of the best sushi places in Brooklyn, and possibly, in New York City. Almost everyone there is a regular, and for good reason. The fish is fresh, and the sashimi is excellent. The salmo lunch is highly recommended. The rolls are pretty standard, but also very good. As are the japanese entres (the tofu teriyaki especially). The isn't a very romantic place, and the decor is nonexistent. The service is fast and courteous. So this is also very good for takeout.

Pros: food

Cons: decor, ambience

.

Once you try their sushi, you'll become a regular there. I'm a big sushi fan, and tried a number of sushi places in Brooklyn, but this one is the best BY FAR in terms of taste, especially if you compare it to about 7 other sushi places in that general geographic area. Their rice is the best, and the fish is always fresh and delicious. Ambience is just ok, but the place is always clean, and the staff is friendly. Go there for the taste, and you won't miss, no matter what sushi/sashimi you order.
