Bad Service, Bad food, Awful attitude...

The staff was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. We had to switch waiter, because we couldn't communicate. The owner was bitter, borderline aggressive when taking our order. We had to wait a long time for the food and our order was mixed up. They were totally unapologetic.

Besides being cold, the food was dry and uninspired. If you're looking for strong sensations, order the rice... Bright orange substance... rice Cheetos anyone???

The prices are more than those indicated on their website, just an additional plus...

As soon as you walk into this place, it's like total comfort. The wait staff is super-friendly and are at once catering to you. The food, I must truly say, is divine!! I had Lobster Tails ala Enchilada and the dish was absolutely amazing. My husband and stepdaughter were equally impressed w/ their dish, all of us vowing that we will definately return. Did I mention their Margaritas, which are totally sinful? My hubby and I had the Mango Margarita and were quite pleased. A definate stop for all who like authentic latin cuisine!!

I've been to this restaurant several times and been serviced exceptionally well. The environment is cozy and intimate which is great for both groups or couples. I like the fact that I don't have to wait to be seated, there's always a a spot for me to dine. The magaritas are full of flavor and has a great kick to it. My favorite meal is the chicken picata which is packed with great garlic flavor. The prices are super affordable and the portions are heafty. Go to Calidad, you won't be disappointed!

Leave home the girly-man or just girly-girl friends that pick atmosphere and hip over food. And no fusion food here!!! All authentic, HUGE lunch specials and at a Cheapy-Eepy price. Roast chicken, black beans and tostones highly reccomended. Don't waste your time at a wannabe Latin trendy nouveau fusion place that serves you one piece of meat and 2 grains of beans. At Calidad Latina, you will eat and be stuffed as if Mom is cooking for you! Highly Reccomended!!

Pros: Friendly Service, Waitstaff reccomends dishes.

I held a small gathering of friends at Calidad for a nice Cuban dinner. The food was ok, decor was nothing spectacular, not really a place suitable for groups. The marinated steaks were dry, but the Chicken Marsala was ok. My only complaint was the awful service we received. Our waiter was extremely rude and unfriendly. When he was taking out our orders, he brought out a fish entree dish that no one ordered, but he insisted that we did order it, and refused to take it back. Then at the end of the night, he came and took away our plates when some people were not even done eating yet. The location is a bit shady, and is extremely hard to find parking. I would recommend take-out from this place but not to dine in.
