No doubts!!! The best service and appartments!!!
It sounds like an ad, but its true. I chose an appartment in Harlem, 227 East , 111 Street, in octuber 2009 and everything was like they said.
The appartment was nice, cool, perfectly clean and two minutes walking from a subway station.
Ny Habitat (Thank you so much, Ana Sivina) phoned me to resolve problems and sent me a contract perfectly clear.
The couple who rented me the appartment were more than helpful. Really good persons. No probles with money o fees.
Dont hesitate. Ny Habitat is your best, and cheapest, choice to stay in New York.

Great trip, great service!!
In October we stayed in apartment ##NY-12689 in the heart of Harlem. It was really a great and clean place in a multicultural, safe an lovely area. We had no problems with anything concerning our travel organisation. The services provided by NY Habitat were just outstanding and we really got what we were offered and the whole booking procedure was so smooth. Our agent Emilya was so supportive. We surely will recommend NY Habitat to our friends when they are planning their trips to NYC!

The Apt NY-7922 (rent September 12-21 2009). A real new york style apt, exactly as we were looking for! charming, fully furnished, with a fantastic waterbed! we really appreciated the neighborhood: the funny and never sleeping chinatown, full of shops, markets, restaurants and caf. The kind and nice owner has been very helpful. We surely recommend this apartment and and the services of the NY Habitat: very helpful!

The apartment/loft we rented (NY11565) was very good. Spacious, well equipped, lots of light and windows, practical kitchen and bathroom, comfortable beds. The location was very good (though sometimes noisy because of street works). Nice decoration. Very good quality/price relationship. The owner was also very kind and helpful, easy going. Your service was also very good: timely, efficient, practical. Christophe was very helpful.

We were two young women searching for an apartment in NY in Sept. Not very easy. We were so pleased to find NY Habitat. Our agent was so kind, serious and gave us best advices that we felt confident very easily. The Apartment (Apt Id #NY-12086) in the Lower East Side was exactly like represented on the web-page. It was such a great pleasure to rent this great place. Before we found NY Habitat we were tricked so badly by someone from ...list paying 500 $ in advance for an apartment that does not exist.

I really appreciated the service from NY Habitat and especially from our agent who was extraordinary helpful and service-minded with our short notice request a week prior the trip.

The apartment (Apt Id #NY-14272) was as we expected, nothing to complain about at all - we had a great stay in that flat and the host was very helpful and helped us with all requests we had. A great apartment and a decent fee!

Viajamos a NY y estuvimos en este apartamento desde el 16 de septiembre al 26. Todo lo que podemos decir es: EXCELENTE!!! Al principio, por desconocimiento estbamos un poco preocupados por la zona pero todo lo que encontramos fue un vecindario muy amable. En cuanto a los propietarios, dos agradables personas que durante toda la estancia te hacen sentir como en casa. Hablan espaol (tambin ingls, claro) y nos dieron mucha informacin para movernos por Harlem. En cuanto al apartamento, todo muy ordenado y confortable, pero sobre todo EXTREMADAMENTE LIMPIO!!!! Relacin Calidad/Precio inmejorable.

We rented a great big apartment on the upper east side for a week in September.(Apt Id #NY-11039) The owner was very accommodation and helped us get settled. There was no issues with deposits or keys. New York habitat is providing a good and reliable service. To be able to stay 5 people in a great apartment in Manhattan for this Price is just a great deal and I would suggest it to everyone instead of a hotel. And we will use this service again.

Thanks to NY Habitat, we had a very good experience in Harlem ! Everything has been well organized from the reservation to the contact with the owner; I would strongly recommend your services to anybody.For budget people, our studio was clean and convenient with AC and a full fitted kitchen (ref NY-12749); the owner was on time when we arrived and left. We were located 2 blocks from the tube in a lively and secure place close to Harlem churches (perfect for the sunday morning famous gospel !!!).

We rented an apartment from NY Habitat in May of 2009, and from initial contact through the complete rental, the service was impeccable. Our representative walked us through he simple process, and was with us each step of the way. I felt assured that if there was a problem, she was there to help.Once we arrive, the apartment was just as we were told. The location was phenomenal, our host was gracious, and we had the time of our lives in Paris. Our apartment was Apt Id #PA-3606, and I would highly recommend a stay here when your travels take you to Paris. Thank you NY Habitat, for making our travels stress free and beautiful.

Apartment PA-2407 in Paris I think NY Habitat helped me to find exactly what i was looking for,a quick and smart service,a furnished apartment in a place where i could easily find groceries,bakeries and stores,and nice restaurants,near the subway station and monuments.It was my first time in an apartment in Paris,and from now i hope to make always this way of trip,living the day-by-day of the town,it was a great experience,the price was honest,and i can recommend NY Habitat,the owner was very nice as well,i think it's important when we have to meet him!NY Habitat,see you very soon!

I'm back from a week in New York where I 'd booked an apartment through new york habitat. The booking procedure was simple and quick, I was assigned an agent who was of good advice. I wasn't sure about staying in Brooklyn but she re assured me the location was a good one and I must say it was great staying there, very near the train and subway and the area was quiet. The apartment owner was a really nice lady who took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the amenities in the apartment and the shops around, we had a great time in New York and renting that apartment made our stay even better. It was so nice to have a real, comfortable home to go back to in the evenings and to be able to cook and eat there, we felt very much at home. I really recommend new york habitat and their apartment rentals.

NYHabitat team were fantastic in finding us a place to stay in London this summer. We were looking for a last minute deal and although availability elsewhere was limited they came up with a great apartment in the centre.

Once again we had a wonderful New York experience, next time we will
visit for no less than 1 mth so we have time to do everything we want
to do. This is the 3rd time I have utilised NYHabitat to book an apartment in New York.

The apartment at East (Spanish) Harlem was great. So close to subway and
central park, food market and restaurants.

The landlords were excellent, very friendly, warm and inviting
both personally welcoming us to the apartment and new york when we arrived at
midnight. giving us a brief rundown of the neighbourhood and the
metrocard. Also explained they would normally would take their tenants for a walk around the block to introduce them to the neighbourhood facilities,
but could see our eyes were popping out of our heads so would let us
get ready for bed.

They kept in constant contact via email ensuring that our stay was
enjoyable.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and big enough to stretch out and
feel like we lived in new york, rather than a hotel room.

The bed was very welcoming and comfortable, the kitchen had everything
you needed to cook a gourmet dinner.

The Laundry room was in the basement and the refuse shute was next to
the apartment.

As you can tell I was very happy with the apartment and the service
Giselle once again provided from New York Habitat, I have promoted
NYHabitat.com to friends who have also booked apartments and have also
been happy with the service.

When I do come back to New York I will definitely use NYhabitat.com
again

I'm just back from New York where I rented a studio apartment through New York Habitat and I can only recommend their service. Their agent at New York Habitat and the apartment owner were both very kind and professional. The apartment itself was exactly what I was expecting from the photos and the description I read on their website. It was neat, clean and comfortable, and the location was fantastic, a block away from a metro station and yet very quiet. I can say I really enjoyed my stay in New York and I'm happy I rented that apartment.

Used NY Habitat to rent a great place in Paris. As someone else already stated, get ready for the stairs! My apartment was great and represented perfectly by NY Habitat. The landlord was professional and helpful, as was the staff of NY Habitat. They helped make Paris even better, if that is possible! I can't vouch for the NY or London properties, but I would definitely refer anyone to them for Paris.

The NYC office is awful. Bad customer service and if you have any complaints after you have paid your fee, forget about it. They just want your fee and do not care what happens afterward. Stay away! The apartment was not as advertised (even the pictures were incorrect!). The owner of the apartment reneged on the agreement and NY Habitat did nothing to help and kept the entire broker's fee (for 1 yr's rent). They are disreputable.

People at NY Habitat was really kind and helpful and the apartment was perfect for the comfort and the wonderful location. And the price was cheap too, compared to the hotels I looked before. So I absolutely recommend their services!

I was looking to book a hotel for my family vacation in Paris with 2 adults and 2 teens. Hotels were tiny and expensive. Then my cousin recommended NY Habitat. I was able to find and book an apartment for our 5 day stay. It was exactly as described and the photos helped us feel more comfortable with our decision. We were able to easily book this and communicate with the person we were renting the apartment from. It was in the perfect location for us. When we stepped out of the courtyard we were right by restaurants, internet access, subway, and tourist attractions like Notre Dame and The Louve. Remember that there usually are no elevators in these old buildings so you must be able to climb stairs. Also, if something is on the 3rd floor, it is actually on the fourth floor since the first floor doesn't start at ground level. Bathroom facilities are small, so be prepared. We knew this was the case so it didn't surprise us. Also, there is no air conditioning - we used the fan that was in the apartment and opened the windows to get a wonderful breeze. Everyone in Paris was nice and friendly. I am so happy that we were able to stay in an apartment thanks to NY Habitat. I highly recommend them.

Our one bedroom rental for five nights in the NYC Village area (April 2008) was great. We lived like residents, which was much better than being in a hotel room. The apt. photos and description were completely accurate. NY Habitat was great to work with and we will use them again next time.

Pierre of NY Habitat was extremely helpful and patient locating us a flat in London that was in our price range and met all out needs; his knowledge of the neighborhoods and transit system was excellent. He found us a very nice flat, quiet and roomy for the price, in a perfect location very close to shops, restaurants and transportation, was excellent. The flat was very well equipped -- stereo and DVD, washer/dryer and other appliances, cleaning supplies, etc. -- and far better than a hotel for a week's stay.

Most of all we have been very pleased by the professionalism and kindness of ny habitat staff who answered our emails promptly even during weekend and fastly found us the best solution.

I rented an apartment from New York Habitat in September, 08. I was traveling with my elderly mother and needed a central location. The apartment recommended to us was perfect. It was on Broadway and it was even better than I expected. Ramon, the owner, was a wonderful host. This was my second time renting from New York Habitat, and both experiences were great. I will never rent another hotel room in New York City. Seriously, this is a company worth trying.

The location and ambiance were terrific. The apartment was beautifully decorated with very comfortable furnishings. The landlord was very considerate and helpful. Just enjoyed a fantastic couple of weeks with my family in Paris in a beautiful apartment. Let's be honest: any short-term rental in a foreign country requires a leap of faith. That said, all my dealings with New York Habitat--and with the landlord in Paris--were highly transparent, efficient, and straightforward.

The property itself (reference PA-3175 at nyhabitat.com) was an outstanding 2BR 2 BA between the Luxembourg gardens and my favorite Montparnasse cafes. It looked good in the pictures; it sounded good in the description. Astonishingly, the reality exceeded the pictures and the description. The mattresses were high quality. The plumbing in both bathrooms was the best I've ever experienced in Europe, whether in hotels or private homes. Truly deluxe. The kitchen was small but extraordinarily well designed, although I have to confess that we almost never used it. (Who wants to cook when you have all the restaurants in Paris at your doorstep?)

All the arrangements were handled by email or fax with New York Habitat and with the landlord. There were no surprises, except the happy one of how comfortably we were lodged in a city where I've suffered in the past from incredibly dodgy hotels. Five stars.

Our week in Paris was fantastic! Having an appartment just outside the main tourist area was perfect. We saw a little more of the "real" Paris, although we only had to step across the street onto the metro to be anywhere we wanted to be within minutes. It really wasn't even far to walk from our apartment to major attractions. There were restauraunts and shops all up and down our little street, and it was just as quaint as any downtown - cobbled, with charming buildings.

I loved our entryway - not only were the iron door and inside, the wrought-iron gate, secure, the little cobbled lane off which a half-dozen appartments were located was lined with little orange trees and patios. Our apartment, itself, was much larger than I had imagined. I thought every place in Paris would be quite small, but we had four floors. The loft where my husband and I slept had 2 skylights. The bathroom was large and clean, and we showered as per our normal schedule and used the washer and dryer, so we didn't have to pack big suitcases. It saved money to be able to cook - and the apartment was cheaper for 5 of us than 2 cramped hotel rooms would have been.

The people who owned it were very friendly and being able to talk to them ahead of time by email was great. They gave us tips on where to see things that weren't in the guidebooks - for instance, my husband is nuts over motorcycles, so he got to go to some motorcycle show rooms. Altogether it was one of our best decisions to book through New York Habitat!

Everything from NYHabitat and the apartment went really well! I received excellent customer service from Christophe. He was accommodating and very responsive to my queries.

Generally speaking, the space was clean, open and exactly as advertised. The owner was very accommodating and clear in terms of her space. What I liked most about NY Habitat (and shared accommodations) was that it very quickly immersed me into a NY scene. In particular, it gave me insights into the small Parisian microcosm living in New York - in Chinatown no less! I will definitely use NY Habitat services again!

Great Agency great agents great service! When I contacted them, I got immediate reply, and proposals of apartments matching my criteria. I'd to contact them 3 times, each time the service was excellent : the agent i dealt with always did his best to find me the perfect place! I had looked for other agencies before, but New York Habitat is by far the best one : so friendly, kind, efficient, responsive, many pictures, details, descriptions, map, etc., such an amazing site!

I used New York Habitat for an apartment rental in Paris over Christmas and I found the whole process amazing. I was assigned an agent who found just the apartment I needed. When I arrived at the apartment, the owner was waiting for me and gave me a complete tour of the apartment, gave me loads of info about the neighborhood (even recommended a delicious boulangerie for morning croissants). The apartment was great, very clean and had all amenities. I certainly will book through New York Habitat again when I go to London next year!

New York Habitat found me an ideally located furnished one bedroom apartment in Manhattan. It was precisely where I needed to be. For my two week stay in New York, this was a welcome alternative to a costly, cramped hotel room. This agency really knows their business. The agent I worked with knew exactly the type of apartment that would work for me. Another plus is that you can view extensive photos of every apartment listed with New York Habitat on their web site. This was very helpful in the selection process. I would definitely use them again. You pay a fee for their services but it's nominal in comparison to overall savings. Rent from a few days to long term.

Believe it or not, the folks at this place are very friendly and are very willing to find short term residences for people who have just moved into the area. I was not looking for a 1 year lease but more of a short stay lease since I had moved recently into the area. They found me an open-ended lease which only required me to notify them 1 month in advance before I left. Over all, I'd use them again for my short term rental needs.

This service helped me find the perfect place to stay while I got my grounding in the city. When craigslist and searches on your own seem too intimidating to start with, the brokers fee can be worth it. The agent I dealt with went the extra mile to find me the perfect place that I would be comfortable in--along with finding a place in my dream neighborhood in my price range.
