So I just arrived in Niagara Falls 2 weeks ago and needed to find a place to get my nails done. After searching on google I found this place with a review and I thought I might as well give it a try.
I never EVER had such a poor service since I am getting professional manicures.
I called them up to ask for the price for a GEL refill, the guy said 14 $ which sounded like a good deal to me. So I went there and the first thing I noticed was this penetrant chemical smell. I had to wait for 15 minutes (even tho I asked for an appointment at 3 pm!!). The guy who then called me over spoke the worst English I have ever heard with a very strong Asian accent which made it almost impossible for me to understand any word he said. That alone was very annoying.
Then he started to working on my nails with the same tools he used for another lady that was before me. WITHOUT CLEANING THEM! Again, I had gel nails and wanted a refill.
He scraped ALL the gel of and I was asked him what he was doing. After he had to repeat himseld 3 times because of that terrible English I understood that they don't do Gel nails.
So there I was, wiht my nails already took down on one hand.
He then started working on them, putting acrylic on my nails.
No idea where he learned his job but I sure had all the stuff all over my fingertips. Also, he was working on 2 other customers at the same time. Again: BAD service!
I told him I wanted the French tips and he said they do that with Airbrush. Costing EXTRA. He didn't tell me anything before about how much it would be when I asked him.
So he put the white on the tips and had to redo i 4 times because he missed spots on the nail but painted my complete fingertips. And some point I was so pissed I told him to just go on so I can get out of that place.
After waiting another 5 to 10 minutes until he managed to put the topcoat on the acrylic (and another 3 tries) my nails looked terrible. Oh, and the price was 30 $! For something I didn't want. He put different and more expensive stuff on the nails than I asked for after seeing the price list in the salon.
I am still, 4 days after my appointment, having red marks from where he worked on the nails too hard. The layers of acrylic are not in a natural looking shape, there are bumps and scratches on every single nail. And the white is already coming off.
If you want a good service in Niagara Falls to get your nails done, do NOT go to LUCKY NAILS!
I learned my lesson.

I hope that enough people read this.

I went to Lucky Nails before I went on a business trip to find the best job I have ever seen done on my nails. I like long, dragon claws if you would that can withstand the test of time and kids. I was very lucky to go to lucky nails to say the least. When I went there, there was a relatively long wait, however, they took everyone as quickly as they could. The job I saw by them was awesome!! I did not have any chipped or cracked nails very sturdy and their design work was to die for!! Well done!!

PROS: Can do any design you desire
CONS: long wait times
