I have been going to Salaon Seraglio for approximately one year. When I first started going to this salon my hair was a disaster. It was damaged and over processed. I can honestly say I was reluctant to apply direct heat to my hair but my hair has improved 100%. Chris uses great products and specializes in hair care. He is great at trims also. I have to get trims the most twice a year. Everyone comments on how healthy my hair looks. I have recommended this salon to a few of my friends and all they do is rave. I always leave his chair looking fabulous!!

For some reason, finding a hairdresser in any city who doesn't fry african american hair with curling irons and respects simple rules of hair health seems impossible. This salon is substandard, at best. The assistant gave me a great shampoo and conditioning. After sticking me under a dryer, the stylist proceeds to straighten and "bump" my hair with a curling iron. I specifically consulted with him to find out his methodology and told him I prefer roller/wrap sets. After finishing, I commented that I needed a cut but would be getting one in a couple of weeks. He urged me to just let him shape up the ends. Five minutes later, an inch was gone, leaving me with an above the shoulder bob - completely what I didn't want nad not a trim. I walked out spending an unfair amount of money and I keep catching wiffs of burnt hair.
