Rathbones Restaurant

I went with some friends on a Saturday night as a stop along the way and we ended up staying for a couple hours. The atmosphere was great! However, I was overcharged $30 on my tab and didnt realize it until 2 weeks later when it cleared my bank!
The bartender that was on that night was rude as well. He wouldnt serve my friends and I anymore because we didnt leave a big enough tip.. even though we tipped 20%...
So the service wasn't good but the atmosphere and drinks were great!

I host alot of events in NYC. I recently hosted a private party on a Monday night at Rathbones and it was probably the best place I had an event. The owner was so accomodating and helped me create a memorable evening for the group. It was perfect for 100 people to get together for a celebration. The food was great too, it appealled to all taste levels, there was something there for everyone!!!! I highly recommend it!!!!

This place has an atmosphere that is more bar than restaurant, especially on specials and game nights. However, it does not come with that gross bar food, laden with salt. Our group enjoyed sandwiches and burgers that put this place to the top of our list when we need great simple food. They have awesome drink specials too, literally unheard of for NYC. Service was a little slow but I do expect that on specials nights.

Great Burgers served for an excellent deal on "Two for One Tuesdays." Relaxed, pub atmosphere with juicy burgers served on English muffins and great draft beers encourages a pleassant crowd...especially on game nights!

Great Bar/Pub Atmosphere.....Burgers, Wings, French Dip and so much more are off the charts. Honestly some of the best bar food in the city!!! Great sports bar with 5 flat screen TV's and a projector screen as well. Very outgoing and courteous staff and a crowd that loves to have a good time. Great food and beer specials all week long. Highly recommend checking the place out.
