Was never a sushi fan but this restaurant is to die for! I've been here a few times and have always had very pleasant experiences. Last time, I had the california rolls, tempura and sipped on some tyku sake. I'll be back many more times.

Great sushi carryout. My daughter, when first trying their california rolls, savored them in her mouth with eyes closed saying, "I'm in heaven." Love the sweet potato tempura rolls as well.

they have great sushi in general, and are fast and friendly. But for vegetarians they have a peanut avocado roll that I am addicted too. And their aged Tofu is equally delicious!

Nice presentation, nice ambience, very good sushi. It doesn't compare to some of the great Manhattan sushi places, but it's definitely some of the best quality on Smith Street - especially compared against its compeitor Kyoto across the street, which is no good (unfortunately, because Kyoto's owner is nice enough guy).

This is a great restaurant. My girlfriends and I eat here at least twice a week. While I've eaten at both their locations, I like the decor of the 7th Avenue location best. I always get sushi and it's sooo artistically presented that I admire it for a few seconds before tucking in. The waitstaff is professional and personable too.

I just got into sushi about a year ago. I had been to Kiku about 8 times, and was satisfied every time. However, the first (and last) time I ate at the new location on 7th Ave, I got horribly sick. I had the "symptoms" of food toxicity every 10-15 minutes for 5 hours. I missed two and a half days of work, and was fearful that I was going to have to go to the hospital for dehydration, as I couldn't keep any liquids down. I called Kiku, and they first blamed it on something else I had eaten -- and I informed them that Kiku was all I had eaten that day, and my friend who I ate with also got sick. They did nothing to rectify the situation. I was told the owner would call me, and they never did. The scariest part? I got vegetarian sushi. How it got contaminated, I have no idea. I couldn't find anywhere to report them, so this is the only way I can let potential patrons know. Please, beware.

This little take-out sushi joint is fantastic - while more expencive than others, they always have consistent great quality fish, make fun special rolls, and deliver within 10-15 minutes. If you observe them from outside, they never have downtime, and yet the quality never suffers.

My favorites here are Tuna tar tar, Black Dragon Roll and Naruto rolls.

HIgh prices are worth it! Don't know why the 5th Ave. one isn't listed here--sit down and get their "tuna pizza" yummmmm. THe best.

My 17yr. old son introduced me to KiKu and I have been hooked ever since! They make a great Philadelphia Roll and have a new Soft Shell Crab Roll that is amazing. And the delivery time is definitely true to their FAST DELIVERY moto.

If you're trembling for a sushi fix and are on a tight budget, you should definitely drop by for a roll or 2 or 3. I recommend the Spicy Crunchy rolls. I tried the Sweet Potato roll last time, but wasn't as impressed. But hey, not everyone can be perfect :)!
