I took my 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ in for warrantied repair on the dash display.

After waiting over an hour, the service rep came in and told me that they wouldn't work on my vehicle because it was a Chevy. I told them the Make, Model, year, etc when I made the appointment.

They blatantly jerked me around and wasted my time. I certainly will not buy anything from these people if this is the service they give!

Pros: Nice waiting area

Cons: Waited for over an hour then sent away

I purchased a 01 VW passat wagon from simmons and rockwell on friday april 3rd, the interior chimes continously dinged while the lights were on, and the interior control of the side mirrors was broken. They had to order parts from VW, I had asked that my salesman call me to let me know the status, whether the parts came in or not. I never heard from him, I had to call each time The parts came in the following Weds.

I then called my salesmen and the service department specifying that I wanted my car in and fixed first thing on Thursday morning as I was traveling out of town for the Easter Holiday, and wanted to pick the car up after work on Thursday. All day on Thursday, I never heard from anyone. I finally called at 3pm. The service department said they could not guarantee the car would be fixed by 5-when they close.

Why sell a car when so much stuff is broken? Why promise me things when they don't know they will occur? Why not satisfy the customer ? Simmons and Rockwell is a monoply, I would never recommend anyone going there. They don't care about their customers.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter in regards to my 2001 Chevy Malibu that I purchased through the Credit Acceptance Program. I am truly disappointed with the service the Dealership has given. Not only is it truly unethical I believe it is down right disturbing that such a high profile dealership would takes advantage of individuals with terrible credit. Just because an individual has bad credit does not mean they deserve to be treated as less of a consumer.

With in one week after my purchasing my vehicle I noticed an antifreeze smell as well as the tires were making a noise. I took my vehicle to my normal garage and they told me that

1.The intake gasket was leaking antifreeze into the oil and it needed to be fixed soon
2.All the tires were cupped, and were not good for the suspension and were really unsafe.

I immediately called my sales person and told him of my concerns, He told me there would not be a problem with me driving my car for a week or two as they did not have a loaner vehicle until then. I also told him about the tires and that they did need to be replaced. He told me at that time he would speak to someone and when I brought it in to let them know. On Thursday June 5, 2008 my check engine light came on I immediately called the Service Center and was told it would be ok to drive. I knew the intake was leaking and now the engine light was on. I was not going to drive it. I brought it in and at that time I made it clear they needed to be replaced and I was not going to pay for it. When I called on Monday to see what was up, they did not mention the tires I informed them of the same thing. I received a call today and spoke to Ray from the Service department and I asked what was done to the vehicle. He told me they had fixed the intake problem and that the check engine light was scanned back to a gas seal and that they recommended new tires soon. I again made it clear that the tires needed to be replaced by them as I had just bought the vehicle and gave them $1,500.00 down for the car just 2-4 weeks ago. I received a call from the General Manager telling me that he had spoken to the service guy and that he did not tell me the tires needed to be replaced. After doing a conference call with the Manager of the Service department who claimed he was behind Ray during our conversation and after he stated that Ray did tell me that the noise was from the tires and maybe should be replaced. I informed the manager that the topic of the noise NEVER came up so he was not present during the conversation. I love how these guys try to back each other up however they are doing it with lies. The GM offered to put 2 tires on if I paid for 2 tires. He also explained to me that he is in a tough spot and walking a fine line of taking in used vehicles and putting as little money into them to make them road worthy and keep the cost down. Shame on The Credit Acceptance Program at Simmons Rockwell, for taking advantage of individuals who are in need of using this program. We use it because we need to rebuild our credit and Simmons Rockwell is selling vehicles that are just at NYS minimum for passing inspection. I appreciate the GM offering to do 2 tires but I will redirect this to I just paid $1,500.00 on a vehicle and should not and will not turn around and put money into it because it was sold as is at the minimum state requirements. I would have kept the money in my pocket and continued to drive the perfectly fine Explorer that I have full use of.

Prices are low, though they offered $2000 less for my trade than other dealers did. Refused to run me a carfax (SUSPICIOUS). Did a google search and saw the Attorney General knows them well. Not going there!

PROS: ?
CONS: Lots
