From the moment you walk into this office, you know you're somewhere special. The kind, relaxed reassuring smiling staff are a reflection of an office environment that is not chaotic and much the antithesis of most Manhattan doctors' offices.

Dr. Ciment sees all of his patients on time- What a novelty! Apparently, he's known for this. What was amazing was that while he saw me on time and spent 30 minutes with me, I didn't feel rushed at all. If anything, I walked out of that appointment feeling better and like I had a greater understanding of my feet and ankle health issues, in general. Dr. Ciment looks young but he is clearly very bright and educated. He doesn't condescend or talk down to his patients: He speaks in regular terms and makes sure it all makes sense along the way. He has a good touch and though he had to do something rather painful (I thought it would be- that's what kept me away) he made it seem simple, effortless and nearly pleasant. Truly, he's is a living testament to medicine being an art as much as science.

I can't speak highly enough of him, the office, the staff and the overall experience. Great, efficient and thorough healthcare in a relaxed environment, pay attention Presidential Candidates of 2008: THIS IS THE MODEL FOR AMERICAN HEALTHCARE!

Pros: Fantastic and knowledgable doctor, great office, convenient location & gets you in and out on time.

Cons: He's my podiatrist and not my G.P.

If you can't run to Dr. Ciment, walk, limp, hop or crawl. He is an amazing doctor. Dr. Ciment is brilliant, but, he is able to explain complicated subjects to all who visit. His empathy is topped only by his clinical judgment.

I am on my feet all day and needed a doctor who would help me with recurring foot and knee pain. Ciment's office quickly fit me. The entire staff was warm and caring. Dr. Ciment explained to me what the possible causes of my pain might be. He took x-rays ran some tests and helped me return to work with most of my pain ameliorated.

I have recommended to family and friends to see him. All have been pleased. In fact, at a wedding I attended, it turned out that most of the wedding party and what seemed like half the guests had gone to see him. (This was just about as odd as us discussing our podiatrist at a wedding. Let's just say with out Dr. Ciment, the groom would not be 'walking' down the aisle.)

Apparently patients with much more complicated needs, then I, have found him just as pleasant and understandable.

Honestly, I don't know how he is able to work with my HMO and not make me feel like I am a cog in a factory. I wish all health care providers were like Dr. Ciment.

I can not recommend Dr. Ciment more highly.
