The Movable Feast

After many months and numerous meetings and tastings with caterers, I chose to use Movable Feast. I can't believe how each and every detail was listened to and then executed perfectly on the day of my wedding.
My expectations were far exceeded and I am still in awe of the professionalism.
From the start of the event with passed colorful cocktails...to the delicious entrees, all was amazing!
This caterer really can help you create a great party for all of your guests and family. I would easily recommend them to anyone.

I recently attended my best friends wedding at the prospect park Boathouse and it was amazing! The food and service were great! My friend was so nervous and one of the staff, I think her name was Josephina was there at every moment to comfort her nerves.
I most remember the blue margarita drink fountain, those were great!
I saw there was a negative review of this company and i wanted to share what a delight it was to be at one of their events. I won't hesitate to use them when I decide to get married.

I contacted them regarding their services and the individual answering the phone was EXTREMELY rude. I would NEVER do business with this place. Service alone is a reason to stay away.

What can you say when your expectations are surpassed?
I am still dreaming about those chocolate truffles and the Wedding cake that tasted
like heaven. This company really delivered what i paid for and so much more.
I really felt like they cared to make my Wedding the best it could be.
I only wish that I could do it all again, for a first time.

I used The Movable Feast for my Wedding which was at Ethical Culture Society this past summer and they were fantastic. From my initial meeting with them to every email and phone call to them, (which there were many) I was treated with such sincerity. Every detail was taken care of and no stone left uncovered.
My budget was not the biggest and they helped me get the most for my money.
The day of the event I decided not to worry about a thing and I was so pleased with the Food and their wonderful staff. They all seemed to smile while they set up and
served my rather demanding family. I can not say enough about what a pleasure it was dong business with Movable Feast. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is planning a wedding or other special occasion!

I recently had the Movable Feast cater my wedding at The Boathouse in Prospect Park. From the early planning stages to the day of my wedding, they were not only accommodating, but they helped me prepare a menu that was creative and delicious within my budget. Jackson and his staff were a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend their services.

This caterer really underdelivered for my wedding and we were very disappointed.. from changing the hor deurves to serving cold food..and rushing the process.. I really would hesitate in using this caterer.. also you wont get a deal..for this price there are much better caterers in the city..

This is a pretty good caterer. When you get to that age where everyone is getting married, this is one of the places that people seem to check out. I have heard from friends that this place is not the most accomodating, but their food is tasty. They also have a larger than average selection of options for vegetarians and people who chose to keep kosher. I had a friend who said they would only do parties of 100 or more, so if you are having a small event, you may want to look somewhere else.

I spoke with a woman from the Movable Feast on the phone a couple of times while I was trying to find a caterer for my wedding. She was quite rude when I asked her to specify prices for me and if ther was any way we could work to bring down the price quote she gave me. She acted as though she did not have time for me and as though I had ridiculous questions, I am probably paying more with the catererer we decided on, but I am glad not to be dealing with someone like her on my wedding day.
