Stever's Candies Inc

I have tried all the local candy shops in Rochester & Buffalo (Batavia too). They have BY FAR the best selection of molds, bark, melt-a ways, dipped fruits (fresh fruit in season). Not to mention hard candy,gummies,& licorice...& thier Marshmallows...yummy.
The owners & staff are friendly & know their stuff. They use Belgiun chocolate, I have never had better DARK chocolate anywhere.
They get VERY busy at the Holidays, so plan to shop early. Even when the lines are long, they are very organized and take care of everyone efficiently.

PROS: They have been doing it right for 60 years!
CONS: No parking - but there is lot across the street.

Stever's is a longtime family tradition for us! My Mom loves to go there especially before Easter to get the marzipan 'eggs and bacon'. There are always new treats to find at Stevers. I have continued the tradition with my own children. They come up with fun products and flavors that I would never think of! Make it a Park Ave. shopping day and visit Stever's before you have lunch at Jine's!

PROS: Wonderful confections.
CONS: No parking.

This store is one of those old-fashioned, local, family-owned candy stores you love. The atmosphere is fun, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the sweets are delicious! They offer a large variety, similar to See's candy, but with the personal touch. Great for Christmas gifts! If you're interested in that, though, you better go early as the lines get long!

This is one of the best place to get candy and treats, especially chocolate. They have a wonderful selection, including fruit dipped chocolate in season. The people who work in thsi store are very friendly. I recommend the truffles -- any flavor, but especially the raspberry.

Stevers is the best candy shop around town. The milk chocolate is so divine. They are right on park ave and easy to get to and have off street parking. The candy shop makes wonderful gift baskets, especially at valentines day. I was given a basket of choc covered straweberries and it was just to die for!
