.

Very inconspicuous on the outside it looks like any other corner bodega found here in Brooklyn, but looks can be deceiving. A Guyanese owned and operated business, Bacchus is known throughout the NY area (even out of state) as THE place to come to for hard to find products , appliances and medicinal items from the Caribbean & UK as well as everyday produce.

Bacchus also sells a wide variety of religious items, spices, fresh fish from the Caribbean as well as those indigenous to Guyana (gilbaka, banga mary, etc.) as well as a variety of meat selections, appliances in the forms of meat grinders, pots, tawas, cutlass, pressure cookers. You name it they've got it.

PROS: Wonderful Store, Great Merchandise, Friendly Staff.
CONS: Store is small.
