I'm sorry to say this YMCA in New Rochelle is a "Dump" if you compare it to any other Y in America, its filthy dirty (inside as well as outside), broken exersise equipment that never gets fixed, permanately cracked mirrors, ripped

The weight and cardio rooms were ALWAYS crowded. The overall cleanliness of the facility was poor, and the equipment is also pretty bad. They close the facility down alot of the time. Out of the 2 years I was a member, there was probably 2 months that I lost because the building was shut down for maintenance or repair (and I still had to pay for those 2 months I couldn't use the facilities)The only pro is that they have a pool, steam room and sauna. If your looking for a place to work out and get in shape, I would recomend either Axxon Fitness or Bally's. If your looking for a place that has activities for the whole family, than the YMCA would probably be a good choice. The prices are a little bit on the high side.
