This is a wonderful restaurant. The place is very beautiful
inside. The food is delicious but I think on the expensive side. They
serve both Chinese and Japanese food. The service was very good.
They valet park your car but it was a bit tricky getting out of there
lot.

Last month we had a wonderful dinner at Pear East in Manhasset. Both the food and the service was excellent. Outside it does not look like much but inside it is a beautiful restaurant. It might be a bit pricy for Chinese food, the average dinner costs about $22 but it was well worth it. The food was superior.

Fantastic!

Meal was excellent. The whole family enjoyed their time here. I especially liked the Maine Lobster dish. The appetizers are excellent and the service was nothing less than "white glove". We will be back!

I have to go to Manhasset for work sometimes and I never know where to go for lunch. A co-worker suggested I go to Pearl East yesterday so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant was beautiful and the staff was so sweet and friendly!!! I ordered sushi and it was AMAZING!!! It was some of the freshest and most delicious sushi I have had in a long time. The presentation was very impressive. You can tell they really take pride in their food and customers. I plan to come here every time I am in Manhasset!!!

Pleasant dining experience

This sit-down restaurant is conveniently located right on Northern Blvd close to the Americana mall. Our group of 5 adults, 2 babies was seated immediately. The waitstaff was attentive to us and receptive to our children, and MaryAnn the hostess made it a point to make us comfortable since she knew it was our first time. There were even performances for the Chinese New Year, including the colorful Dancing Lions. I observed Kathy, the owner, greeting many diners by first name and friendly hugs. The waiters respectfully served the women first, even if one waiter had to walk all away round to the other side of the table - something I don't usually see. All in all, my family enjoyed the cultural experience and the tasty food. Try the Roast Chicken with Kumquats delicately infused with its citrus flavor, and the Red Bean Pastry. Yum.
