Luigi's makes an honest pizza - good crust, good sauce, plentiful toppings. But stand in line and you will hear at least 50 percent of the customers order the chicken salad. It consists of a warm breaded chicken cutlet on a bed of lettuce, tomato and cucumber topped with a big green olive and the house dressing. You can order the salad with shredded mozzarella or without. This salad can be addictive - truly! it is delicious!

Not a bad pizza, the silcillain pizza is very good. Nice thick crust like it should be, good quality sauce to go along with the way it melts into the dough.

I ordered a few pizzas for a business meeting I placed the order a week ahead of time & asked that the pies be delivered no later then 11:45. I called them at 11:45 and they said "they were on their way". The pizzas arrived 45 minutes late ? no apologies. When I asked for a partial discount or perhaps a free pie the next time around, the manager was downright rude. He said to send the pizzas back but I wouldn?t get a refund. He didn?t apologize or go out of his way to make things right.
Hands down the worst service I have ever received. Do not give them your business, trust me, by the way they treat their customers, they don?t want it. The pizza was decent but not worth the horrendous customer service.

This place used to be good but the food has gone down since they moved locations. The servers are also very rude.

We went here after an early concert at Carnegie Hall, based entirely on the review we read here, and we were not dissapointed at all. The pzza is the best we have had anywhere in a long time. The Shrimp Parm, and the Eggplant Parm were plentiful with a sauce to die for. It is small, but the food is GREAT!

Everytime I go to New York I have to stop at Luigi's. It's definitley one of New York's underrated places. It's the best pizza I've ever gotten in New York.

Pros: Food, Service

We literally stumbled on Luigi's trying to find the Letterman Studio's. This was our first meal in New York and hands down was the best pizza find of them all. We tried all the pizza places locals and books recommended, but none could touch Luigi's. The staff were not very friendly, but with food like that, who cares! It's worth going back to New York just for their pizza!

This place is a real find. Although you may have to wait for a seat, the genuine Italian food is well worth the wait. The portions are large, and can be easily split between 2 or more people. Luigi's is a real value and a true find for midtown.

Pros: Good Food, Inexpensive

Prices are way too high for take out. $10.25 for Chicken Parm Dinner that was horrible and you can get better in the hood for $7.25. However, they have the best garlic knots in Manhattan.

A pizzeria with relatively plain decor and too few tables (good luck getting a seat anywhere around 1PM on a weekday...). This does not detract from the food, which so far has been great! The pizza is decent, but their modestly priced chicken salad is to die for. Get the small size and save a buck, since the large really doesn't give you a much bigger portion. Very pleased with this place. Kinda miss not working nearby and being part of the regular lunch crowd.
