Absolutely the worst dry cleaner I have ever been to. I went there once and the older woman argued with me that I needed to dry clean as oppose to wash and hang my shirts. She then yelled at me when I told her I needed my shirts as soon as

Tribeca Cleaners lost two pairs of pants of mine and then had the nerve to accuse me of never dropping them off when in fact, I personally brought them to their store. The ensuing conversation was sureal with the owners explaining to me

Terribly interesting that people go online and report false statements. There have never been police outside due to lost articles of clothing. Additionally, this "person" was treated with respect and she implied because of her address, she should not be asked to adhere to policy. Most interesting as all other clients find our policies to be fair and just. Condescending and inappropriate behavior is not the norm in our community. Please refrain from attacking others due to your own issues.

The women who runs this dry cleaner is condescending, has a terrible attitude, and offers VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. As a first time customer I was asked to "pre-pay" for my dry cleaning. I have never experienced this in any dry cleaner in the city. Then she tried to push a more expensive cleaning process. I said 'no thank you' at least three times. Then she asked me if I could "pay in cash". She explained (continuing her condescending tone), "that's just how my credit card machine works, it's a $20 minimum for charges". I agreed to pay cash when I picked up my clothing, and I will never go back there again. Whatever her "policies" are, she left out "treat customers with respect and keep them coming back" out of her rule book.
There is a GREAT dry cleaner on Greenwich between Warren and Murray.. go there!

Update: Today THE POLICE were outside Tribeca Cleaners trying to calm down a customer about a lost piece of clothing!

The Best!
I have used many, many cleaners over the course of 15 years and this is by far is one of the best I have been to. There price is very reasonable compared to the market price uptown both west and east as well as midtown. I have used other so called great cleaners such as Madame..., Meurice and Hallak, they do a good job but also make the same mistakes that other cleaners do. One reviewer said that he or she was charged for linen or cashmere, how about being charged for the color blue or yellow. That's what I was charged at these so called great cleaners. Also at Tribeca Cleaners I get a shirt cleaned by hand for under $9 that comes out perfect! Other cleaners mentioned charge $28 to $38 for the same exact shirt and it doesn't look, feel or smell any better. If you want to compare cleaners then you have to compare apples to apples, which is why I mentioned the other top cleaners in NY. They are that good. They are not your average mom and pop shop that are charging the lowest prices in town. They are a quality cleaners with great regular serviced items and terrific special serviced items. They are consistent with their cleaning which is saying a lot. They are also proud of their store as you can see it is very clean inside where most places are next to filthy. I will continue to use them as I have for the last 3 years.

AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL. Constant mistakes and terrible customer service. Without a doubt the WORST cleaner and tailor I have ever used. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

I have used this cleaner numerous times as it's very convenient to my office. However, after my last few experiences I'm never going back! The owner repeatedly tries to add erroneous charges onto my bill (charging me for linen or cashmere when the garment isn't that fabric, etc) and acts annoyed when I point out the mistake; has returned clothing to me smelling / looking like it hasn't been cleaned and then refused to clean it again; has stapled my shirt when stapling the tag on, causing me to rip a hole in it when I took it off the hanger, and then refused to do anything about it because I had taken the stuffing out of the sleeves; the list goes on and on!

Save yourself the trouble and take your clothing to a competent and polite cleaner.

Pros: convenient to my office

Cons: quality, service, attitude of staff
