I also had negative experience with their return policy. Better to shop where stores stand behind their merchandise. Once this store takes your credit card there is no way to get your money back even when the product is defective. Other posts on this site read like ads written by the store owner.

I'm from Canada! I travel to the city at least 4 or more times per year. When I do, I make it a point to visit Off Broadway. Most of my attire that I photograph in is purchased from Off Broadway. They have unique and diva-fastic outfits that cannot be located in your designer collections. When I want to get something that I know no one else will be wearing, I come here. Those of you who haven't given it a good review, haven't given the store or the extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff a fair chance. This is my favourite store in all of New York City, Canada or elsewhere.

THis is my second stop whenever i'm in NYC. The first is the hotel. You cannot find more unique and beautiful clothes anywhere else in the city. They have the most helpful staff who often know more about what I look good in than I do myself!

I was informed of Off Broadway by a close friend and decided to check it out for myself. Now, I make it a point to go there first when shopping for upcoming events. I appreciate the great, helpful & prompt service. Very delightful to do business with.

Those of you who have written abrasive reviews didn't review the whole store. The back of the store is consignment clothing which people donate and so it is used, but the front of the store is all new merchandise and yes the prices are a bit on the high side but it's more upscale and has uniqe merchandise that is usually harder to find other places. The clothes are also meant for women who aren't teenagers so the majority of customers are looking for something special.

Not just overpriced items, but terrible store policies. I bought a hat for my upcoming wedding, left it at the store and thought about it over lunch. Decided against it - went back and got a credit - didn't use the credit, but 6 months later when I tried to, was told it was too late!!
Items are tacky and overpriced. Beware - and don't change your mind!!

I love thrift stores, so I checked this place out after reading another review on here that said it was more of a thrift store than a "boutique" as the name suggests. Well, it's not really a thrift store either. It's a ridiculously high-priced store with ugly overly flashy used women's clothing. The first couple of things I looked at the price tags for were really high and also really weird prices like $347.

The Off Broadway Boutique is really more of a thrift shop than a boutique but they get some pretty good merchandise because it is an upscale neighborhood. You turn in your old clothes and when they sell get money which you can then plow into more vintage clothes and when you are bored of them recycle them over and over. A fun place to shop.
