Our dog has long been a patient of this veterinary hospital. When only routine maintenence is needed, most anyplace that is convenient is okay. When a real and serious emergency occurs, a test is quickly made. This medical business

I have been going to Farmington Veterinary Hospital since i was a little girl and my mom would bring our cats there. Now that i am older and have my own animals i bring them there too. my kitten was a stray and so small and he looked so beaten up, i was able to get him in right away to get checked up and make sure that he was okay. then i went through some time of health problems with him; a lengthy upper respitory infection and months worth of tape worm. The first amount of dosage of both problems did not cure him right away and i called them and told them that his problems still havent gone away so they told me to come in and pick up the medicine right away. Just with the staff being so friendly and listening to me about my cat and his needs made me really appreciate them and what they did. I am getting a puppy in the next few weeks and i wont even hesitate to bring him there!

I've been with Farmington Vet as long as I can remember. 12 years or more. They are just not the same. I remember how sweet and nice the office staff was, how nice and caring Dr. Fessler was. Now, I have no idea which doc. or tech I'm getting. The office staff is rude (except for one). It's like they've gotten too big and just care about money.

I had researched a vet closer to me and checked out their prices. They had me sign a release to look at my dogs records. I never made an appt. with them and I was unsure if I would even switch. My two dogs got into a fight one evening and one was injured. I called Farmington Vet to see if I could bring my dog in. They looked up my info. and very snippy said, Um, it says here we sent info your to a different vet last week. I said yes, I'm considering changing. She then said, well then we are not going to see your dog. I said, What? I have an emergency here, my dog needs to be seen. She came back to the phone and stated that she talked with the doctor and then informed me, you can bring her in if you continue to come here in the future. I said, whatever yeah. Then when I got the tech that saw me didn't even make eye contact with me. I explained to her that my husband and I had been discussing puttting down my 12 year dog because she has been urinating all over the home and has become agressive (hence the dog fight and injury). I asked if now would be the time to really consider it. She then treated me like a bad pet owner and said, that is a completly different issue and appointment. I'll have to get you to sign a bill agreement, then left the room. The receptionist brought in my bill agreement. On my way out I asked whom I talked to on the phone and the woman said, me. I stated that I was very disappointed with the earlier conversation regarding, not treating my animal because I was considering choosing a vet closer to my home. I stated, I've been a customer here for 12 years and this is how I'm treated? She then said, Does the other vet have evening hours like us, in a snippy voice again. (because it was 8 o'clock). I couldn't believe it. This is not an isolated incident. I'm done with this place.

In response to euthnasia from hell the owner must have forgot to take their meds that day because what this person is claiming sounds crazy! Farmington goes above and beyond for their patients and for their clients! They always have for me and my extended family.

We just moved to the area and needed a vet. They were close and the building looked nice - so we went for it. Not scientific, but we couldn't be happier. The doctor we sawy - Dr Benedetti - was fatastic. Tooke her time, was thorough, and totally fixed up our pup. We went back with our cat and asked for her specifically. The helpers were good too. One noc onthem is that we had to wait both time more than 45 minutes.

We were clients of Farmington for over 20 years until we moved recently. They have been great, caring, professional vets and techs and have seen us through plenty of tough times with our various animals. They've always taken the time necessary to talk with us and have offered great advice.

I started taking my two new kittens and my dog there last year. I have been very pleased with the service and the prices. I called to get a quote for the services needed, and they were very happy to tell me how much it would cost. I have had no prolblems getting appointments- in fact I just called this morning and was able to get in tonight! I have a 100 lb dog who is very energetic. They are always patient with her and treat us with respect- even when it takes two people to trim her nails! I would recommend them.

The worst experience you could go through with a pet was made 10 times worse. When I asked about the tranquilizer shot to be administered before she was to be put to sleep, the response was..."do you want it or not?" The doctor jabbed the shot in her and she screamed with pain and then the tranquilizer made her spin into panic, just made things worse for her. She fell on the floor trying to fight off the tranquilizer. Finally they came in and euthanized her. They grabbed her immediately after she passed and never gave me a moment alone with her. The vet never said a single consoling word to me except, "have you done this before?" They wanted me to take the back door upon leaving with my pet in a box so as not to disturb the customers in the lobby. I took the front door out and will never be walking through it again.

We have used them in the past because they are local for us, although we have since found a cheaper vet to go to. They are good for emergencies and have a great staff to work with!

Farmington Veterinary Hospital is a fabulous place for your pet. We have been going there for 3 years now - ever since we've had our dog. All of the vets we have seen have been top notch - whether it's been for a routine check up or an emergency (like when our dog was attacked by another dog & was hurt bad). The rest of the staff there is awesome as well.

Their prices are more than fair!

I wouldn't trust my pets to any other vet hospital/office. I highly recommend them!!

My name is jessie and ive been taking all my animals to farmington vet clinic for as long as i can remember, they've always been very accomadating. After my dog passed it was about 2 years befor i got another, Duke, and of course i took him here at the begining it was like i remembered, but when duke broke his jaw being a clumsy puppy these people told me that it would be at least 2 days befor they could see him! After telling them i cant wait 2 days ill go elsewhere u better believe they got him in. I let the incident slide thinking maybe they were busy but then it was time for shots duke is a big baby and loves people and he is 70 lbs worth of love but all kisses. While there the tech that was working on him a Dr. Benedetti thought that he was just ridiculous suggested puppy training and grabbed 2 more nurses to pin my dog down. I spoke with the owner Dr. Fessler and she was specifically to be his only tech. She apologized but i felt like they had abused my dog. They didnt even give a chance to smell them and they didnt talk to them i felt like it was an in and out thing and they really didnt care. About 2 mos later( and having spent about $500 in vet bills) I got another puppy i went to take her in to get fixed and i asked every1 that i could how much it was gonna be no one could give a straight answer so i figured id bring $120 and set up a payment plan for the rest shouldnt be a problem. Well it was these people wouldnt even bring my puppy out to me without a cc over the phone or even a post dated check! now for as long as ive been going to these people and the amount of money spent here this shouldve been ok they held my dog hostage while belittleing me in the lobby bc i didnt have payment "did you know you were gonna have trouble paying this?" well no bc no1 would tell me the price finally i called my fiance and they took his cc over the phone i got my puppy and needless to say switched everything over to storybrook farm.
