Kohl's Department Store

While shopping, there was more than the usual rude people shoving and pushing. In the elevator with a stroller and a cart with a toddler, I was pushed aside. The dressing room clerk informed us that once we tried on the required amount of items in dressing room, if we had any more items we would have to leave the room and get on the back of the line. During this discourse, the clerk had a few choice words re: customers and verbalized this infront of said customers. Unfortunately, staff rudeness appeared the rule, not the exception.

CONS: Kohls, Brooklyn, N.Y. is not one of them

I cannot tell you how excited I was when this store opened, as I have been shopping at Kohls in NJ for several years now. I am happy to say that this store is as great as I hoped it would be. For starters, it is so neat and clean. I even commented about that to the manager, and he said he strived to keep it that way, and it would be that way as long as he was there. Awesome! This store has everything from clothing, shoes and jewelry for your entire family to home decor in every style, from traditional to contemporary. The prices are fantastic, and they always have the BEST sales--they recently had a 50% off sale, and wow, I cleaned up! I do have one small complaint about this store, but I suppose it is because it's in Brooklyn--you are not allowed to push your shopping cart to your car, and security will stop you at the door if you try. I guess theft is a big concern. It's still one of my favorite stores--I'm more than willing to schlep my goodies to the car!
