The staff is so nice and super quick. Some of the items seem expensive until you see how enormous they are. I tend to spend around $15 for dinner (sandwich, fries, and a side of vegetables), but then I eat on it for 3 days! The pancakes

2 coworkers and I went, got a booth right away and ordered within 5 minutes. How long could 2 grilled cheeses and a salad take? Apparently over 40 minutes. By the time the food was ready we had to ask for it to go, the only saving grace is that it LOOKED yummy, but we never found out - 10 minutes later and our food still not wrapped we had to leave. The waiter never came by in the 50 minutes to check on us, bring us more water or update on why people who came in after us were being served (albeit it still taking a long time for them). Not worth the price, the food, or the wait.

Pros: Food looked yummy, cute location

Cons: horrible service, overpriced

In a neighborhood with not enough diners, the Sunflower survives in spite of being average. It closes at midnight, even on Friday and Saturday night - missing the late night munchies crowd. It doesn't make the regular Jewish staples of potato pancakes and blintzes. BUT, it does have a nice atmosphere with cheerful tile decor. The waiters are attentive and pleasant.
