Smooth Synergy Cosmedical Spa

I came to Smooth Synergy for a body treatment before a special event, in the hopes of helping myself relax and feel fresh and light for the big day. Not only did I find the atmosphere lacking warmth, but the technician decided to give me a different treatment than I had requested, without informing me until it was too late to protest. The treatment I got was useless and was executed poorly. Not only that, but the technician felt it necessary to critique my body in a very uncomplimentary way. Spa time should be about making a woman feel great, not tearing her down in the hopes she'll buy additional treatments. I wasted my time and money here, and I hope you don't do the same.

I researched getting Juvederm for an injectable filler for my lips, it took me 2 months to finally do it. i did some home work and looked at ratings and prices from different spas. Smooth synergy was highly rated and was actually cheaper then a lot of places with very low ratings. The liscense doctor who admins the treatment is wonderful.. takes his time and really tells you what you need. and not what they want you to need!

i spent months and months thinking about getting botox. when i was finally ready, i went to smooth synergy (of course after doing tireless research) and honestly, it is one of the best things, if not the best, ive ever done for myself. it is absolutely incredible how smooth and beautiful my forehead is!!!!! i truly couldnt be more thrilled with my well-thought-out desicion!!!! the doctor ia an absolute professional and always keeps you informed about what he is doing during each step. not only did he make me feel so comfortable about the procedure, but it was almost painless!!!!! BEYOND DELIGHTED!!!! could not be any more pleased with the experience and the results!!

The doctor at Smooth Synergy is so wonderful! I got Botox there and he's not only excellent at his injection technique, but he takes the time needed to explain the pros and cons of all the injectables there (I also do Juvederm, which is great for my lips), expectations and maintainence, etc. He's very knowledgable and patient. I definitely recommend him to anyone who is considering getting botox.

Please do not come back here. This spa is obnoxious and they just want your money. I got the 'extraction' facial and the woman did not do a clean job. The areas which she picked became very dark and scar-like. One became worse and much more inflamed. This is not what a professional facial should entail.

When I called in concern, the owner told me it was completely MY fault because I put salicylic acid on it, BUT no-one in the spa told me this when I was there. She said everyone is 'grateful' when they leave her spa. Well, I was not one of them and I wanted a refund of the facial. She said I should come in again because they want to help me.

Ok, I thought, she is really nice. But what the owner really meant was that she wanted me to get checked and charge me $100s worth of products to fix the very problem her spa's facial caused. Unbelievable!

Do not go to this spa and spend your hard-earned money when you can pick your own face better at home. And to think I got suckered into a microdermabrasion as well! I do not recommend it either because I really couldn't tell a difference.

My experiences at Smooth Synergy have always been great - I'm probably their most loyal customer - they treat me like family! They're so on top of all the latest treatments and everybody is so great there! Facials and Microdermabrasion and Laser Hair Removal - try them all - you won't be able to help it because you'll be hooked!

I went to Smooth Synergy for the first time and bought an organic spray tan. This is the first time i heard of an organic spray tan. The lady there was so nice and helpful. She explained that they use mineral salt bronzers to produce a truly natural looking tan. I wasn't wearing makeup but the lady said they use a vegetable-derived product that can be sprayed over makeup! I was done in 10 minutes and left looking like i just came back from an island instantly! Smooth Synergy, you can expect to see me back in 7 days!!!

I have been a regular client here for some time, as this is my one stop area for injectables, my organic spray tan, and taking excellent care of my face. Tamara the aethetician is amazing! She knows just how to take care of me, and improve the overal quality of my skin. I rarely go out of my way to endorse a location, unless I really believe in them, but at S.S. I have really found this to be an amazing place.I recommend this place to all of my gfs and mother in law.

Their prices are so affordable, and they really work with you to accomodate your every need.

The only real negative is that they book up so fast, because of their incredible treatments.

I got my first ever Botox injection from Smooth Synergy recently. My friend has been going to them for Botox for ages. I always wanted to get rid of those extra wrinkles and I absolutely hated my crows feet around my eyes, but I always thought that Botox would make you look unnatural and plastic. But my friend looks absolutely stunning and not fake/unnatural at all. Well, now I do too thanks to Smooth Synergy. They have a great staff there. They were really attentive to my first-timer concerns. And the injection was actually done by the onsite doctor, not just a nurse like at many other places. The doctor explained every step and assured me that the dosage was just enough for what I needed, not a drop more. Too much makes you look like plastic. It's abolutely perfect. I've already made my next appt to try their laser hair removal too.

I have had laser treatments at many establishments over the last five years and I would definitely recommend Smooth Synergy. "As a huge fan of massages for the past 15yrs I've seeked out the supposed titans of this medium.' I was recently at the Wynn in Vegas, and had 3 different massages. ranging from Swedish to Thai; they were good, but not the self proclaimed "bests" or "experts". I then came back to NYC, to Smooth Synergy, not only was the simple full body massage better by far. But the cost is 1/5th of the supposed 'amazing Wynn spa massage.' Hands down Smooth Synergy wins as "the best", not only was it better and at a better price. But tthe massage itself overcame the insanity of Manhattan, something other Spas cannot compete nor understand."

I've never had a more personal spa experience than at Smooth Synergy. I felt like I was important and the technicians are so well trained that I never doubted my decision to go there. I've done a variety of the treatments and have yet to be let down. And the overall feeling of welcome is the clincher! If there's a day that I want a treatment that they don't offer, I can only hope someone there will learn it for me!! Keep up the good work!!

I have been looking for a place to get my endermologie for months. I came across smooth synergy and LOVED IT. The staff here are great. They are so helpful. The endermologie treatment i recieved was definitely one of the best. I plan on going here for all my endermologie treatments. The hours work very well with my work schedule!!!

Smooth Synergy offers a variety of services in laser hair removal and has the most knowledgeable staff!! Everyone there is extremely helpful and pleasant. The laser hair removal really works!! You will have to do at least 5 sessions, but it is worth it!! I would recommend Smooth Synergy to anyone who is looking to do laser hair removal. The staff is great and the laser hair removal works!!

I have been coming to Smooth Synergy for laser hair removal for my last 5 treatments. Not only is this the least expensive that i have ever come across, the technicians are wonderful, helpful, and really go fast! Which is extremely important if you have ever had laser hair removal. I am planning on coming back soon to get one of their body wraps. This is a great place and i highly reccommend it!

I had a microdermabrasion at another doctor's office a few weeks before having one here. The difference was unbelievable. The thing I was impressed with most was the amount of LOVE that went into the facial. You could tell that Beth was really interested in doing her best. By the time she was done with the microderm, the extractions, the 12 or so different processes, the neck and shoulder massages, the steam, etc. I was so relaxed, I didn't feel like leaving. After the facial, i had a little redness that went away within a few hours, then I was absolutely GLOWING. Everyone in the office was so down to earth, so nice and friendly. I'd recommend this spa to anyone! I'm trying the "butt facial" next!

I have done Endermologie here after beginning in France. It is a treatment that I quite like and find effective. The technicians at Smooth Synergy were very well-informed and did it properly and correctly. I have looked for a place to resume treatment before I found Smooth Synergy, but my schedule is very busy and it is hard to come in three times a week during business hours. This is what I most approve of for Smooth Synergy is open all the time, it seems! This is very convenient and helpful. The doctor there is also very nice and I believe the entire experience is very good.

I really never write reviews for anything, but I read what the other person said about the spray tan and I have to disagree. I went to Smooth Synergy for a tan before my wedding because a friend recommended it. Of course, I did a practice tan a few weeks before and decided that I did want to use them for my important day. Robin did my tan for the wedding and she was so nice. It came out perfectly - even, exactly the shade I wanted (maybe the other person didn't know that you can tell them how dark you want to be), and totally natural looking. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you Robin and that I highly recommend the spray tans!

I went to Smooth Synergy to try their airbrush tan - first they have you crammed in a small room that has a tent set up. It was hard to get around in the room. It took the girl about 50 minutes to complete the tan - most places i go to i get done in about 15 minutes. The color looked great the day of the spray but when i showered the next day, almost all the color came off. It lasted about 2 days - it was a very light shade and i wanted to be a medium color. I was very disappointed with my airbrush tan.

At first I went in for a facial and found that, the aesthetician was very knowledgeable and friendly. We got to talking and I asked her about the brown spots that I have had on my face for a long time. She suggested some treatments to get rid of the spots. They had earned my trust and I signed up for one of the suggested treatments, a photofacial series that got rid of my spots! I think going to this place was the best thing I could have done and I am so happy that I did it! I feel great and the spots are gone and I feel so much better about myself and my appearance. I think that the staff was so knowledgeable and very friendly, there was no sales pressure and I'm so happy with the results!

I recently had the pleasure of getting a microcurrent body treatment and photo facial done at this spa, and I was so impressed that from now on this is the only place I'll go! I've been to lots of the spas in the neighborhood for various services, but I can say without a doubt that Smooth Synergy has the friendliest, most knowledgeable staff that I've ever encountered. I've already gotten myself one of their endermologie packages to get ready for summer (their prices are great too!).

Overall a great experience and in my opinion, Smooth Synergy is the best spa in NYC!

Even Dr George answered questions for free and offered his phone number for 24h access. Very high end experience at reasonable prices . No probllems. plenty of available staff / no wait

The collagen facial at smooth synergy is well worth the money. My skin felt so healthy and plumped up, not to mention all the compliments I received about my youthful appearance. Too bad that the real glow only lasted a week. I would definitley go back. I also will continue to use the laser hair removal services. The big plus is that you get to buy a single session and don't have to commit to a 6-pak. Try it, you'll get hooked.

I recently went in for a facial and some laser hair removal and had a great overall experience. All the staff was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I was not kept waiting at all, and they also schedule evening treatments which is very convenient but not always possible at other facilities.

They have a very nice facility and their prices seem competitive. Also, it turns out that they have a doctor and chiropractor available on site who accept insurance, so I ended up scheduling a chiropractic appointment there as well.

In short, great bang for the buck and excellent location, especially if you work midtown.

I've been going to Smooth Synergy for awhile and I absolutely adore it! I went for laser hair removal and after only a few visits I don't have to shave! Yay!
Everyone there is lovely and the place is really clean. I always feel comfortable with their staff and they have a doctor on hand in case anything goes wrong. The last time I went, I got a facial; I was a little worried because I tend to break out after facials, but this time was fabulous - my skin looked better than ever!!! Anyway, I really like this place and I highly recommend it!

My first reaction was that I was in an ultra-clean, highly professional medi-spa. I immediately felt very confident that I was dealing with experienced professionals -- not only was the owner present (and you can tell she runs a tight ship which means better service for me), but there was also a doctor on premises. I received professional services and much needed pampering, and sorry to be a diva, but I want both. Now, instead of going to one place for facials, another for vein zapping and still another for Botox, now I do it all in one place. Next time I am getting a massage and then it will truly be one-stop pampered upkeep. I am there so often I'm treated like family (only a lot better!!) It's nice to be waited on and considering the ambience, expertise and mid-town location, the prices are reasonable.

This spa is definitely on of my favorite places to be on my day off. Laser hair removal, the best thing ever to be invented, can be done quickly and discreetly. The laser technicians make you feel comfortable no matter how hairy you may be. Besides from hair removal this place offers free mini-facials and lets you TRY out other services for FREE. This place works for me!

I've have recommended S.S. to all my friends. They are efficient, VERY resonably priced, and their lasering works! I'm Italian, and I don't have to shave my bikini anymore. Can't say enough good things about this place.
