IRINA gave me the best anti-aging facial in my life. Yes, its about time I started thinking about anti-aging treatments. This was not your run of the mill facial. It was an all inclusive 90 minute, anti-aging, rejuvenating, and relaxing spa facial. It was about a seven step process which included a neck shoulder massage! She used top of the line products and I walked out of there so relaxed and excited about my results that I'm coming back to do a series, and regular maintenance. Irina's facials are the best. She has this machine called Jade that plumps the skin, it works wonders around the eyes and neck. I highly recommend Irina

Oh, the skin. It has been giving me all sorts of problems since I was 12 years old. So....over 20 years of bad skin! Someone help me!

I should mention that I just started a new job after being out of work for several months, so I haven't seen Irina in a while. You can tell by looking at my skin. I'll be back soon!

. Her space there is so calming, clean, and tasteful. When I see her, my face is treated to cleansing, extractions, microdermabrasion, a lactic acid peel that's effective but super gentle, along with lots of other fantastic treatments that leave my skin glowing and healthy.

The key is going on a regular basis. Your skin will thank you. So will your bank account. Her prices are beyond reasonable. Stop going to those over-priced, pretentious places on Union and Fillmore, girl!

You'll be pampered and relaxed while lying on a comfy treatment bed under a cozy blanket with very cool tunes playing in the background. All this plus she is a total sweetheart!

For someone who has gone to sooooo many places to get hair extensions, I just want to say that Julia at "Luna salon" has magic hands - she matched my extensions to my hair, styled it and gave me advises how to care for them. NO ONE can tell I am even wearing extensions and I can wear my hair in a pony tail without the extensions showing!

Hairstylist Julia is exceptional, she is great and very understanding. You can talk to her before the haircut to discuss your preferences, Julia will suggest what will work best for you. She's very detail oriented and creative. I used to have a very short hair cut and when decided to grow hair, I kept changing hair dressers until I met Julia. After her work, your hair will stay in style, will be very easy to style and work with on the daily basis. Very -very satisfied with Julia 's work !!

It's great spot for a mani and pedi. After reading the mixed reviews and decided to give it a try anyway because it is close to my office. Everyone was friendly enough when I walked in. The prices are reasonable and they do a good job. plus,they don't make you wait too long and it's clean. You won't be disappointed.

I had an excellent experience at this spa getting my hair cut & highlighting, 'cause it's almost impossible 2 get my hair right! I'm not so good at color selection & followed the advice of the stylist, and they turned out exactly like I was hoping they would! Really enjoyed staff, the room was vibrant & well decorated... I'll definitely return 2 this place!

I admit that my hair is not the easiest to cut. It is wavy, and has a tendency to frizz. Marina was able to tame and bring forth my hair's natural beauty. Marina, you're my savior...Thank you so much!!

I had an excellent first experience at this salon. Sergey did a great job on the color and took extra time at the end because even though I thought it looked fine he wasn't quite satisfied - and he was right, he added a little more color that really put that extra spark in it.

Everybody of the staff was very friendly and welcoming as well!

The salon is relaxed and friendly.I finally found a wonderful and affordable salon convenient to me in Brooklyn!! I can't say enough good things about Arman - I've had my hair cut and colored , its really the best hairstylist ! He is professional and I would recommend this salon to anyone! Definitely will coma back here!!!

I started going to Luna salon two years ago. I had facial done with Galina , since she was recommended on citisearch and she was great. She is professional and knows what she is doing. She is also using good products, mostly french brands. I would highly recommend facials with her.

However, when I tried to do waxing there, I was really dissapointed. I was told by the girls who work there that Galina is great at brazilian (which she is not). I have had brazilian waxes in other salons and know what it should feel like and what kind of wax your are supposed to use so it does not hurt as much. Luna Salon is using cheapest wax possible for brazilian and bikini waxes. They use yellow sugar wax, that you are only supposed to use on legs, arms, and big areas (the one used in cheap chinese places). For brazilian and other types of wax, high end salons use brown, pink or green waxes, that hurt much less. Considering the price of waxing at the salon, you are better off going to Studio 19 (they use cold green wax) in Brooklyn or Salon 25 (brown hot wax) in the city to get the job done for the same price but with less pain and irritation afterwards.

Been a regular since it opened a few years ago. it is a reputable and clean neighborhood place. Prices are good and since they have a following, reservations are almost essential if you're coming for one of those hard to get after work, weekend afternoon manicure and pedikure. No fluff here, but they certainly get the job done.

I need to tell- it's such a great place! ..All people was nice and friendly ! I cut my Hair with Armani- it's something Wonderful !! !!!He really Know what they do!!Than Janifer did a facial- my face so clean and I feel like a New Person ! I recommend This Place 100%!!!

Sergey is by far the best sport when it comes to hair stylists. He listened to my requests, looked at my hair, told me why it all wisps to one side and never looks symmetrical, admitted that my last hair cut was disastrous, made silly jokes, didn't burn my scalp or tear any roots out, and most importantly didn't impose his own opinions on my hair. If I asked him, he would have given me a buzz cut. Furthermore, he did a great job! I cut off a good bit of length and refreshed my bangs with a straight-across cut and "paint brushed" effect. I'm extremely pleased with the end result, a completely new look from two days ago, but it's just what I wanted. Sergey really knows his stuff.

Great brazilian waxes! They're quick and painless (relatively speaking). Irirna is amazing. Really nice, and not overly chatting (do you really expect me to be able to carry on a conversation?). Overall, great experience, and reasonably priced. I'll go there for waxes.

I have been using Luna for highlights and cuts for the past 2 years and have never been more happy with the way it looks. Segey is very efficient with the highlights; I don't spend all day waiting around and always leave very satisfied. Highly recommend him!

i'm one of those horrible clients: i want a HUGE change, but you can only take off a fraction of an inch. no color. i have to be able to put it up. it has to be easy for me to do myself. in other words...i'm a hairdresser's worst nightmere.

sergey at luna handled me quite well. he was a sweetheart. and did a wonderful job. i dont recall the last time i was so happy at the end of a haircut. it was beautiful.

I started going to Luna about 10 months ago and I've had a great experience there. I get a color, cut, with Marina, and she is excellent. The first time I went she really listened to what I wanted and mixed up a gorgeous color for me. Marina is a perfectionist with her hair cuts. I have very thick, wavy hair, and the cuts she gives always seem to lighten it up and make it more manageable. I highly recommend her.

I really like this place- everyone is nice, and the atmosphere is fun and upbeat. I go to Oksana for both cut and color, and she does a fabulous job!

I have curly hair, which has ended in some disastrous cuts. However, Oksana did a great job, and it looks good both curly and straight!

I go here religiously for my monthly eyebrow and lip waxes. Once I discovered this place I realized what I was missing elsewhere. I refuse to go anywhere else. They're fantastic. I swear the way they shape my eyebrows makes me feel a million times more attractive.

I stopped a stranger walking down the street to ask "who does your hair"? She said LUNA. I call there and booked a hair cut w/ Marina. That Monday i returned to work, i had girls from almost every department coming over to see what a REAL professional hair cut looks like !!!!! . It was simply beautiful !!! Can't wait to go back there !!!!!

This place is totally fine. This is the place to go if you want a simple cut. If you're concerned you won't get what you want, either don't go here -- or just pay attention to what the stylist is doing.

I have been coming to this location for months, formerly Great Cuts, but with most of the same staff. Now you wonder why i gave this place 5 stars. There is one stylist who is INCREDIBLE. I have curly hair which can be hard to cut, and it always comes out PERFECTLY. I would pay literally three times as much for the cut i receive, thankfully, I don't have to. I would tell you the name of the stylist, but I'll be honest, I don't want them cheating on me with new customers!

I had my hair blow-dried here last months for a wedding.
My hair as never looked so good. My hair was soft, curled a bit at the bottom and stayed beautiful all the way. I wish I could find a way to justify going and getting it done more often...

I have only had a manicure here. They had a wide selection of colors. Olga who did my nails did a really good job. The place was clean and it seemed like the other clients were happy and getting good service. She also massaged by hands. My nails looked great. I would go back.

This place is of high quality yet unpretentious. Marina has been cutting my hair for years and I wouldn't think of using anyone else. She is totally competent and makes pleasant conversation. A great cut without attitude!

have been coming here for several years and Maureen is my favorite. I have curly hair and she actually knows how to cut it. (Other places I've tried seemed clueless if one's hair was not stick straight.)The prices are reasonable and I can usually get an appointment at the last minute when I have a frizzy hair panic. I could do without their choice of music but other than that it is a good neighborhood salon.
