Bello's Italian Restaurant

I've been coming here for close to three years and have always
meant to do a review but never seemed to get around to it! The food
is old style Italian and extremely good, portions are generous with a
fair price in the cost of a meal. The place is small but it allows you quickly
to be comfortable and at home in it...Specials change every week so variety
is offered in the menu...the wine is priced low and the pour is full...if italian food
is your passion do not miss out on the little gem on St. Marks..

Wow, Bello's turned out to be a great pick. Homesyle cooking - nice portions, tasty sauces and friendly/warm atmosphere. I was there with 4 friends and we all enjoyed the meal very much - Apps: stuffed eggplant w/rigotta cheese - rich, fried calamari - yummy, shrimp Pasquale - excellent; Main Courses: Spinach Ravioli, Veal Rollatini, Caesar with Chicken and Pizza Picante - all very good. 2 bottles of Chainti and a couple of Peronis and we were all happy campers! and, best of all, affordable, definitely going back!

Adorable is the word to describe the atmosphere and the host Pasquale. Simple Italian dishes with an extra special touch that makes you feel like you are in Italy. You can always rely on fresh fish, great pork chops, some of the best chicken dishes, fresh salads, and good apps! I forgot to mention the soup of the day. Mama mia.
