Ally Kutz Hair Art

I just had my hair straightened and oh my god, what an amazing job the owner did! I read the review on here where someone said the owner was "rude". I have lived here all my life and I can take a guess as to the parts of that story this client left out. I have been going to Ally Kutz for YEARS! I never go elsewhere. Makes me chuckle to read "she won't be open long..." etc. Let me put future clients straight. All the employees are professional and caring. They remember my stories. They ask me about my family...they get to know me a little more each time I sit in their chairs. I have had cuts, colors, Japanese straightening, facials the works Fantastic work in all areas! And I have yet to get my hair straightened for a more fair price.

I've been going to Ally Kutz since 2003... I love them! They're always friendly, any time I need to make a last minute appointment, they will fit me in somehow! I moved to PA (but have family on S.I. that I visit often) and I still go there to get my hair done. As far as hair salons go in S.I., they are very inexpensive.

Had an appointment one snowy day. I was going to cancel earlier in the day but thought that was not right since they are there and working. Drove there to find out my hairdresser did not come in that day. I never received a call from them to cancel my appointment. When I asked the owner if she had my phone number to call she said yes. She apologized and said she was swamped and couldn't call. I could wait and she would cut my sons hair, 2 other women were ahead of me, or reschedule. I said I would call back to reschedule and told her she should of called me considering the weather.

The next day I called to make another appointment and she said I was "rude to her". She said "what part of I'm sorry didn't I understand". She then told me I could not make another appointment. Which right after her stating,"what part of I'm sorry didn't I understand" I already knew I was not going back.

The gall of this women to not cancel an appointment then tell me I was rude to her. She has a small shop with 2 hairdressers and salons are a dime a dozen here. Won't be in business too long with that attitude towards customers.

I do not recommend at all.

I like coming in here for the haircuts but what I really love is the way they do my highlights. They spend a lot of time on your hair but trust me it is more than worth it. You come out looking like one of those models you see in those fashion magazines and the color doesn't fade for many months. They sylists charge a fair price and they are always very friendly.
