Per our telephone conversation at 1:03PM today, you stated you will not be compensating the children and myself for the cost of the 80-Decker Double Decker Bus, the ruination of the children??s prom night and their clothing, shoes, hair, make-up, etc, the loss of the prom pictures due to the late arrival of the bus to the prom and of course, the fraudulent activity that was undertaken by your company to charge my credit card an additional $1,300 and the continued attempt of your company to charge additional amounts all as described below in my prior e-mails. Not only was the prom night ruined for all of the passengers on the bus but my daughter is confronted on a daily basis by the majority of them requesting their money back. It is unfortunate that when problems occur with your business, you refuse to handle it in a businesslike manner. You have purposely ignored by prior e-mails and telephone calls, and your lack of response is unprofessional at best. I was surprised to actually speak with you today but only to be threatened by you with a lawsuit. Your company was completely at fault on May 28, 2009, and you, as the Owner, should want to rectify this situation in a positive manner with me, the customer, so future business will not be affected. Your company did not perform your job properly and legally, and instead of attempting to rectify the situation, you choose to threaten me with a lawsuit. This lack of business etiquette and fraudulent activity on the part of Designer Limousine leaves me with no other alternative but to report you to the Better Business Bureau.

My name is Marissa and I am a college student over at St. Francis and I frequently charter coach buses for campus events. For my last event over at this company quoted me $2000 GRATUITY INCLUDED in hopes I would be a return customer. The limo bus ended up breaking down which delayed my event three hours. I decided not to leave the extra tip (which was my discretion) since I was already pissed off.

I live in Staten Island and don??t commute to Manhattan much. Kenny from Designer Limo wanted cash instead of credit card ??for tax purposes.? I told him I have no problem paying cash. He requested I come in the day prior so he knew I was good for it. Since I thought they were a legit company I told him to take my credit card as collateral so I didn't have to waste time going to the city to pay him. I paid him the next day. Two days later I see an unauthorized charge on my credit card for $800. It has been a week and the owner has yet to get in touch with me.

I checked this company out on the Better Business Bureau and saw not one good thing about this place. They have 2 outstanding complaints against this company, and I urge all others to do the same and file complaints with BBB, the NYC Taxi and Limo Commission (212-227-6186), as well as the Consumer Affairs of NY (973-504-6200).

I booked this limo company for a night out with the guys, and was given a limo with broken televisions. I asked the driver to help out and he did not know what to do. I asked him if we can get another limo, and he told us that there were no more available. We had a 2 hour trip to Atlantic City, NJ without the televisions working. I think that Designer Limousine is one of the worst companies that I have ever dealt with. They are manipulative liars that will ALWAYS back down on their word. They have various complaints against them on the Better Business Bureau and have ruined my night out with me friends.

I was not happy with their service at all. I used them for my wedding in Oct 2004 and met with them the week before to clear up any amt due so that I didnt need to be bothered on my wedding day. The day of the wedding they wanted to collect more money besides the fact that our driver did not know how to drive at all. I called and complained when we got back from our honeymoon and the owner was just as rude. He did not want to accomodate us in any way.

PROS: They offer free airport service for your honeymoon when you book a wedding.
CONS: Rude people, not very efficient
