New Fu Lai is a small restaurant located across from ironically two vegetarian restaurants on Church Avenue between Rogers and Flatbush Avenues.
It's undergone so many changes in management, yet the chef is still the same and the food remains delicious. They put in some stools at the counter but no one really eats there. They have one table (for the heck of it) and the place is always packed with people placing orders. The food is FRESH. Prepared to order without attitude, and everyone knows the staff who are really friendly. Specialities include Chicken with Broccoli, Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, Roast Pork Lo Mein, Chow Mei Fun, Roasted Pork (this is an appetizer quart sized container I often get and take home this sliced tender pork to add to dishes purchased there or to dishes I create during the week at home). The Shrimp Lo Mein & House Special Chow Mei Fun, Fried Rice or Lo Mein is divine.
Basically, you can't go wrong on any dish. They adjust seasonings to taste and many people prefer Spicy.
PROS: Tasty Food. Freshly Prepared, Relaxed
CONS: Small Space, Limited Seating
