Soooo wanted to stop in and catch the 3rd period of the NY Rangers. It was on the TV way in the back where there was standing room only and a bunch of people playing with their dogs. So asked the bartender if he could change the bar TV

This place is awesome. The owner is usually around, Sean. His dogs Balto and the black one (forget her name) are there too. Cool atmosphere, great pool table. Jukebox could use update. Great local watering hole that is totally unpretentious. In the 'hood for a long time now. Great pours, great local art on the walls. Nice place to get your doggie fix. Bartenders nice, knowledgable.

Great neighborhood place. Used to go a lot when I lived in Williamsburg. A great pool table, great jukebox and great pours. Some folks bring in books and can just read in a great atmosphere. Other bring in their pooches. Check out their website for regular events.

saddle up at the bar, or relax at a table.
this bar is perfect.
excellent juke box, and they have attentive, cool bartenders. it feels like a bar, not a club, and that's well needed in the area.

Brooklyn Ale House is no typical touristbar. You can meet the real inhabitants of Williamsburg.
