the kosher gym is a massive scam. it is a free for all, they charge your credit card on time every month, but offer no service whatsoever.
they will change all the rules, hours and conditions a minute after you sign the papers:
- their fingerprinting system which is the only way to get in the building does not work and there is no one to speak to when this happen (which is like 2/3 times) this is definitely the most frustrating thing: knowing that there is a monster swallowing credit card info and billing every month but not providing ant service, there is no one ever there to talk to and answer your questions. its a massive scam.
you cant even cancel when you want: you need a certified letter two months prior!
PLUS they are supposed to offer three stinky hours of babysitting a day BUT the babysitter comes whenever she wants, and there is no way for you to find out when she decided to show up or not on any given day!!!!
anyways, STAY AWAY FROM IT WHILE YOU STILL CAN... you have been warned

DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THIS PLACE!!! They will lock you in and charge you ridiculous fees and there's NO ONE to talk to! They harrass you until you have no choice but to pay the fees if you don't want to go to collections. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. Besides for the fact that they are a rip off, classes are not included in the price, and even if you pay for classes, they are always being changed and cut back. This gym is not proffesionally run.

The gym is horrible. It is filthy, the music stinks, and the new owner and workers are rude, and obscene. The other reviews must be plants. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. They've got to be people who own the gym or work there.

The equipment is great but:
Despite adv for having a steam room - still not in operation
Showers - run good, then cold, then super hot. Process repeats
Soup packets empty. Not a big deal but indicative of poor maintenance
Pv't Trainers-forget to call to schedule appointments. Come late.
Only 6 chairs in locker room. No benches (cheaper?)
Chairs in steam room (cheaper?)
Still no pool
Torah tapes lack working players.
Very shoddy run for a gym.

My brother went there but was not impressed by it as much . This new place is for Jewish orthodox community where men and women exercise seperately. The place has excellent exercise equipment, a sauna and a juice bar that offers strictly kosher food. They offer aerobic classes and personal training sessions. The membership is a bit on expensive side but might be worth it for those seeking privacy.

The best thing about the kosher gym is its hours they are open Sun-Thurs from 6:00 Am until 12:00 Am. They are open Fridays until 2 hours before Sabbath and on Sat. Night they open about 2 hours after Sabbath ends. I have been a member now for almost a year and enjoy it very much. Another good thing is that there are two seperate gyms for men and woman and it is very good for those who have problems at mixed gyms due to religous reasons. The equipment is top of the line and the gym is always clean. They have staff mopping and cleaning the machines all the time. Recommended to all.

Kosher gym is a new and wonderful gym (new because a fire required renovations). Seperate hours for men and women (that's the kosher part). Nice machines and many machines to choose from. This is not one of those gyms where you need to wait behind 4 people to use the only treadmill.

This gym has the best and newest exercise equipment available. They really service their equipment well, always clean, nothing ever broken. And best of all there is enough equipment available, meaning you never have to wait on line to use a treadmill. They are a bit expensive, at a cost of more than five hundred dollars a year.
