Faces Spa & Salon Corp

The staff is relatively nice, however, I feel that I was grossly overcharged and I did not receive what I asked for. I paid $114 for color and cut. I wanted a very dark brown with the underside a VERY RED with an additonal streak of the red on top. I went in saying very funky, not at all subtle. I was talked out of the streak on top because it would be too much work, with the colorist hiding behind "well we'll have to pre-lighten your hair and it might get a little dry"... . I knew about the process going in, I've been dying my hair since I'm 15 and it know what hydrating and conditioning color treated hair is; and the red that was dyed was a deep red/violet. Almost a more violet auburn. Very subtle. Not only that, I was charged for a duel process for semi permanent color that needs to be redone in 3 weeks. With the cut, I had been there before for the cut and I wanted the same thing. My hair has grown out substantially so I expected to take alot of hair off. However, it was barely a trim AND the stylists hands stunk of cigaretts. I'm sorry, but my hair was wet and she was running her fingers through it. I'm NOT a smoker and I don't appreciate my hair STINKING of smoke. Aside from that, she was in a completely crappy mood and was barely able to hold a semi civil conversation. I left there feeling completely taken advantage of and will never go back. Overpriced, pretentious and unprofessional.

The salon has an awesome vibe, the staff is very knowledgable and just great all around. Other services: up-do's, nails, pedicures, massages, make-up and colorists. I moved from NY to NJ, I still go to this salon!

Faces is the best salon any where in brooklyn there is a great staff but the Gina the make-up artist and front desk makes that salon.Aisha and Dre are great too.Aisha did my hair peeerfect and I only got a chance to see Dre`s work but trust me there great.SO GO TO FACES YOU WON`T BE SORRY.If you do go you should go on Tuesdays all 3 of them are there.
