I have eaten at the Pine Grove on several occasions. The food was usually good, but not great. Also there weren't many menu choices that I liked. Most meals come with a salad and bread, so I have left the restaurant very full several times.

The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. The thing I liked the best about this restaurant was that they had a stack of Trivial Pursuit cards on each table. When lacking in dinner conversation, you could quiz each other on random trivia (I believe it was the Silver Spoons edition)! It seemed like the entree arrived in no time, but it might have just been because we were entertained by the cards.

The atmosphere was nice, almost homey. The two issues I had with this restaurant's atmosphere were the bar and the doors. There were two entrances to the restaurant and it seemed that in the winter, no matter where you were seated, the cold air would hit you whenever someone entered or exited. The bar was almost never frequented and seemed to exist solely for the purpose of being an eyesore.

Overall, this was a decent place to eat at. Some of their meals were prepared better than others, but I'd still recommend it to others.

PROS: Trivial Pursuit cards, friendly staff, decent food
CONS: Drafts from doors
