We love going to Montauk by boat! Montauk Yacht Club is a clean, friendly place to go with friends by boat or by car. They have beautiful rooms for "landlubbers" which look out onto their wide wooden docks for boaters. The view is magnificent. The Yacht Club has two outdoor pools plus an indoor pool. They have live music, great food and drinks. There is also a Free Shuttle Bus which leaves the Yacht Club every hour on the hour. You can go to Town, the beach, or to the Grocery Store. We highly recommend Montauk Yacht Club for your next summer Get A Way. You won't be disappointed!

This place is ridiculous, and not in a good way! The staff are all shipped in from other countries with limited English capabilities, and thrown into uniforms. I had one girl actually have me write my order down so she could show the bartender! Room service was painful to order, as the person on the phone made me repeat myself four or five times to understand me. What the hell is this place thinking? The food at both restaurants was nice, but the service quickly washed away the nicety of that factor, I think the workers havent been trained, and have never worked in hospitality before. There are PLENTY of better places to stay in Montauk, closer to the beach and 'nightlife'. The described amenities include a run down gym, shuttle service which is less than pleasant, a completely unknowledgeable front desk, a pathetic beach, and overpriced ,yet understated rooms. I don't know how they are still in business. Just take a second to search through yelp, citysearch, tripadvisor, etc..... You will be hard pressed to find a single good review.... Maybe that is a warning sign for disaster! At least the bartenders are friendly, and can get your mind off the dissatisfaction.
