N V Hair Co

Possibly the most over rated and over priced place I've ever been. Staff more worried about running into the back room to gossip than taking care of customers. The owner spent ten minutes doing my hair bragging about her Gucci bag or some nonsense to another customer than ran in the back to eat. Some other stylist finished my hair and the salon charged me $85 something. BUT MY HAIR LOOKED EXACTLY THE SAME AS WHEN I WALKED IN!!!!!

Just returned from my first appointment at NV. What a wonderful experience....both the sytlist Jackie and the colorist Debbie were both extremely talented professionsals....It was so refreshing to be asked what I wanted and heard....in addition all this was done without it taking half my day. I loved NV and will be recommending it to everyone who asks. Great color, great cut and blow out...thanks Debbie and Jackie.

I've been going here for several years now, and I love this place. Danny and Jackie are the husband and wife team who own this salon, and Danny excels at customer service, while Jackie is an absolute hair genius. Margo usually cuts my hair, and she's wonderful with my long, thick, curly hair. I have a friend who uses Tiffany for her cut and color, and loves her. Meanwhile, they have Marianne, a makeup professional who sets up shop there, and her skills and products are terrific. They (especially Danny) make you feel at home here, offering you coffee upon entering and hanging up your coat for you. The only bad experience I ever had there was for a manicure by a rather colorful male manicurist, who rushed things and left bubbles all over my nails. Not sure if they even do nails anymore, though. But as far as hair, they are great, and while each stylist charges a different amount, I think the prices are quite reasonable for the skill level you are getting.

I love Nv Hair Company. Not only is the staff talented and creative, they make you feel like family. They always go above and beyond. I would highly recommend Justine and Frankie.

I used to be a loyal customer at NV. I have had very bad experiences my past two visits. One was with color..the colorist put it on my roots and left a 19 year old assistant to finish. No one checked my color before I walked out of the salon and when I got home it was multicolored!!Then the topper is the NASTY attitude I have experienced from the stylist who did a HORRIBLE job. I had an affair to go to and needed to find another salon to fix the rats nest on my head. Needless to say my days at NV are long over. See ya!!!

All of the stylist colorist etc. are talented at their craft. Best cuts and color for the area, especially for the $$. If you have any event, wedding, Bat Mitzva, or big night out, this is the place to go. At NV, I got the best up-do and makeup EVER!

This place is wonderful, experienced, professional and most of all friendly and family oriented. Margo, Kelly, Danny and the rest of the NV family are just the best. Never been disappointed. Not only do I love my haircuts but I love that everyone has a smile on their face and talk to you as if we are all family. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been to the best salons in Manhattan and they don't compare to the consistency of excellence that this salon provides. I have never had a bad hair cut or color from this salon, and I have tried many of the cutters and colorist's on staff. This salon is very conservative. The staff is wonderful and helpful. No attitudes to deal with, just down to earth talented people. Love it, and will never go anywhere else ever again! Ask for Frankie for a hair cut...he's great with long hair. Christine is an amazing colorist, I am always happy with my color and highlights...Superb.
