The Beekman Tower Hotel is a former residential building turned into a hotel. As such it doesn't have a big lobby but it does have great prices for rooms that are huge by Manhattan standards.

This is an amazing place and has become one of my favourite hangout places. It has got everything you need , right from mouth watering food, drinks, a spectacular 360 degree view that really sets you up with a relaxing mood after a hectic day at work, and not to forget gracious and accomodating staff at the bar. They have $25 dollar open bar on thursdays from 6-8 p.m and let me tell you that its a real good bang for the buck. Gina , bartender at the bar is very friendly and makes the best drinks ever. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
