.

I went here after I had my second son to lose 15 pounds. It's expensive!

They give you prepackaged food to eat in portions that are tiny. You get to see a "counselor" each week who is just a young girl usually with minimal training. They ask you about challenges coming up and the link but really, you don't get much advice.

You do get a binder with lessons to be learned and homework. Each week you get a new lesson to study.

The food, as I said, is so expensive and you still have to supplement it with your own. I paid well over $120 a week f or my food alone. That's just crazy.

It doesn't taste bad for the most part and you get snacks...maybe too many because in the real world that is what causes us to gain. Once you get off the system, you body hungers for the snacks and you end up eating things you shouldn't.

They weight you in every week and plot your success on a chart You get a star for every 5 pounds lost. You also get measured on a regular basis.

If you are very dedicated, you can lose on this program. You MUST take supplements (another expense) with the food because you won't be getting enough vitamins on the diet.

I caution anyone who goes here to NOT let them put you on 1000- 1200 calories a day. I am thin and was even when I had the extra 15 pounds. They put me on 1000 calories a day and that is just too little for anyone regardless of weight. My doctor said even 1200 for someone who is over 40 pounds overweight is just too little. He said I could eat 1200 but only for 3 months then I should go to 1400-1500 until I achieved my goal.

I did lose the weight and I have kept ot off for many years. But that is because I exercise and belong to www.calorieking.com. My sister is going to JC for the third or fourth time as she keeps regaining all she loses there.

They don't prepare you for the real old of eating and that's where the problem comes in.

It's expensive, the food is ultra processed, and the counseling doesn't focus on future eating habits. But
