Perelandra Natural Food Ctr

Located in Brooklyn Heights this is a great place to shop if you are looking for organics, natural foods, vitamins, etc. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I love their take out juicebar/deli, especially the desserts! The store also carries a large assortment of magazines and books.
Perelandra is located near public transportation, however; parking can be a problem, especially during the week.
I have been a customer since the early 70s when the first store was located on Montague Street.

I like this store because its like a supermarket but its only natural and health foods. Its very big, but tight inside. They have fresh cooked food and beauty products. I think the prices are a little high.

This is the place for organic produce, bulk grains and cereals, natural health products, and every soy-based product that can be dreamt up. There is an large selection of different granolas - especially good are the French Vanilla and Hemp varieties, the latter of which won't necessarily get you stoned, but will get you your FDA recommended daily allowance of Omega 3's.

This gem of a market is located in the downtown Brooklyn area near the government buildings. They have a bulk foods section which is in a cooler to keep things fresh and worm-free. They always have a monthly sale flyer. You can count on some brand of natural juice to be a few bucks off, and a lot of the sale items are displayed on endcaps for quick access. They also carry natural vitamins, supplements, makeup, beauty and bath products. Oh, and they also have a fresh hot -foods corner in the back, which always has vegetarian and vegan options.
