.

I went to Superior Hair Design twice and both times felt overcharged and unhappy with my cut and style.

I told the stylist exactly what I wanted, even brought a picture to show her, yet I ended losing much more hair than I wanted, with bangs that were far too short, and a style that I could never maintain on a daily basis.

The prices are high for the service I got. The shop is small and quite busy usually.

I thought everyone was friendly enough and the stylist took her time but even after I said I didn't like the direction she was going in with my hair, she told me I would love it when she was done. I didn't.

I paid far too much for a cut I didn't like and that I had no choice but to live with. The stylist did know I was unhappy but didn't offer to give me part of my money back or anything.

The second time I went there (yes, I foolishly went back), I had color applied and it came out orange instead of a deep red. They did do it over this time but the damage was done.

I may have just had two bad experiences but I would not go back to Superior Hair Design again.

They are expensive and, for the prices they charge, I should have gotten a style and color I asked for.

To be fair, I did see others leaving who seemed happy with their service so I won't rate tham a 1 star. Still, my experiences were not good at all.

PROS: They take walk ins
CONS: The stylists do what they want, not what you want. Prices are high.
