Okay, I'm a bit partial to this place, since they're right around the corner from my house, but George, Riki, Mary Ann, and the "unnamed fourth Kontras family member" (George & Riki's son, Mary Ann's brother) have a take-out business that is worthy of the highest praise. The food is all high-quality, with a wonderful assortment of prepared dinners (both seafood and non-seafood, surprisingly), fried fish by the pound, and side dishes and desserts that are top-notch. Combine that with the fact that they now offer a VIP card that gives a 25% discount on prepared foods every Monday (and 5% any other day), and I can get a huge dinner (2 pieces of Cajun-spiced catfish (they offer other types of fish as well), 4 fried shrimp, 3 chicken fingers, cole slaw, hush puppies, French fries, and condiments) for a little over $7 complete. Leftovers usually wind up as lunch on Tuesday. My only complaint is the Friday traffic - I don't think anyone in the neighborhood cooks on Friday, and the lack of off-street parking makes traffic hellish from about 5:30pm-8:00pm. The store also encompasses a traditional retail fish market business that I haven't tried yet.

PROS: excellent food, friendly service, VIP discount
CONS: no off-street parking leads to heavy traffic on Fridays
