I had heard of Mariemont Barber Shop for awhile, but simply didn't go until recently because I already had a barber. I had been going to the Vernon Manor to see Dominic for several years and had no reason to change barbers. But after his recent retirement I needed to find a new Barber and Dominic recommended the barbers at Mariemont Barber Shop. I was a bit aprehensive at first, simply because Dom has been doing a great job on my haircut for several years and the thought of going through a bad haircut by a stranger wasn't top on my "to do" list. But 'man alive' this was a great shop! Eugene cut my hair and Brian (the younger man) told some crazy tales! Both of these guys kept me in stitches with laughter and made me feel right at home from the first minute I walked in the door! I didn't make an appointment, but they still managed to fit me in. I wish they would have had time to give me a face shave, Brian was giving one to another gentleman and he seemed to really be enjoying himself. Even though I miss Dom and his stories, I think I've found a new home for my haircuts!

I stopped in at Mariemont Barber Shop on a Saturday without an appointment and these guys went out of their way to fit in both my son and myself and gave us excellent service! They had a busy flow of customers (whom i had never met before) and everyone in the place (other customers included) were exceptionally friendly and pleasant. On top of that the young man with the tattoos (Lucky?) was able to cut my sons hair without any problems! We have been asked to leave other shops in the past because of Sam's (my son) crying and displeasure. But this time Lucky was able to keep him entertained and give him an excellent haircut for the first time ever! We will certainly be going back for a very long time. These are true gentlemen and excellent barbers!

When I first went to the Mariemont Barber Shop, Brian made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I have been going there for about 11 years. I would not even think about going to another barber. I always leave knowing I got a good haircut, even my friends at work would compliment me on how nice my hair looks.These gentleman are great. And they are always joking around. These guys are the ONLY barbers I'd trust in Cincinnati, by far! All three of them (Ron, Brian, and Lucky) know how to communicate with there customers and give the perfect haircut and face shave EVERY time! I've been seeing these guys for years and will continue to be a loyal customer. There are alot of other shops in the area that claim that they are "barbers", but these guys are the real deal. A real traditional shop that stays up to date with all the current styles. Can't be beat! I highly recommend these guys to any man who wants to look like a man!

I've been going to the Mariemont Barber Shop for years, and would recommend it to any man looking for a good, mainstream, non-metrosexual haircut at a fair price (I think $13.50). Between barber/owner Ron Salzano, an older Italian family man, and barbers Brian and Lucky, who are younger and both sport Elvis-style do's, you're guaranteed to find a barber who can give you the quality haircut you want and who cares enough to remember your name and style. I've tried Tycoon Harry's right down the street and, unless you want to pay $25 and up or want a pedcure with you neck trim, The Mariemont Barber Shop is the place to be.
