They live up to the name SNOOTY and like a FOX. I had the misfortune to consign a few items (glad I took some back after how I was treated). They look down on everyone, they are rude nasty, rip offs etc. I have nothing good to say about them. Sorry I went to them. I should have just given it all to Goodwill .. I got next to nothing and yes they have bed bugs and fleas!!! With this economy some families really need to consign just to make ends meet and they really are taking advantage. So next time you decide to buy something from them just think of your son or daughter being ripped off because they took their stuff to be consigned and Snooty Fox decide to be real FOXY!!!!! THEY MAKE MONEY U DON'T!!!!!!

I have been a consignor and customer at the West Chester location for 10 years and have always had a positive experience. The staff is very good at knowing what will sell at their store so, they always have top-of-the-line merchandise.

I brought in a bunch of high end children's clothes, cleaned and on hangers. The snotty lady working there said she would take one item that still had tags on it. Gee, thanks. \r

I was shopping at the Snooty Fox in Mariemont last week and saw a weird bug crawling on a pair of pants that I pulled off the rack. Knowing what a bed bug looks like I brought them to the register to show a sales person. Manager was called over, she was very rude and quickly said that it wasn't a bed bug, yet she quickly killed it and put it in an envelope. Never once acknowledged me or apologized for anything. She quickly walked away and seemed really mad. Do they know they have bed bugs and don't care enough to do anything about it? I am 100% sure it was a bed bug, it had every characteristic of one. I could have put a picture of one next to it and no one in their right mind would think it was anything but a bed bug! So sad, as I love to find designer deals there to resell! I will not be shopping there again!

I consign at Snooty Fox, Harpers Point and West Chester. They live up to there name SNOOTY!! At Harpers Point they are the worst. Several nice girls in furniture side but several rude in both sides. Carolyn the "MANAGER" acts like your stuff is beneath her and then you look on the shelves and wonder what was wrong with your stuff. There PLATINUM card rips you off again if you are a consignor. A sofa at 399.00, 50/50 split should be 200.00 but the card gives you an extra 10% or 20% off so now your 200.00 is 180.00 or 160.00 UNFAIR to seller. If they want to give a discount then it should come off their 50% not seller. West Chester Snooty Fox has alot of nice people, usually shop there and consign their for clothing, they don't look down their nose at you.

I've both been a buyer and a cosigner.

Things you should know as a cosigner:
1). You will NOT make a lot of money selling your clothes.
2). You will need to pay a $20 start-up fee before you can sell, but it's good for life.

Yesterday, I took 15 items (mostly from Talbots) to the Snooty Fox to consign. They rejected all but one! All my items were like new, and bought within the past year. On the racks I noticed, while looking around, many outdated and low end styles from Wal-mart, Target, and such. Not that there is anything wrong with clothing from these stores, but the prices at Snooty were higher than new. I found a much better alternative in West Chester-Second Chance Consignment in Beckett Ridge. Much higher quality things! Friendly people!

I have had three experiences with Snooty Fox as a consigner of clothing. All three were disastrous. Most troubling was their lack of accountability for the merchandise I had dropped off. They had no idea what had sold and what the price was. All they could tell me was "what they owed me." Everything is done by hand in an antiquated accounting system that is not accurate nor reliable. Clearly, they are taking advantage of people who are consigning their clothing in good faith. I was told I could pick up the items that had not sold at the end of my contract. When I went to pick up the items that had not sold, they had no idea where my pieces were and shuffled an answer about how everything must have sold. Very shifty. The Snooty Fox has quite a scam going here in Cincinnati. As an aside, I have always thought their sales help to be rather "snooty". Who do they think they are? They are rude, inept, and know noting about customer service or retail.

I've consigned a few dozen items with poor results. The youngsters who decide on whether they will "accept" your items seemingly have no sense. My things that were 4 - 6 months old were termed "dated, out of style." But the items hanging on the racks look like thrift store offerings, rumpled and lower end. I would never consider buying there, and will never consign again either.

I concur with Mandy C's review on 10/1/08...poor records...poor deal for consigners...more trouble than it's worth. My assessment? A poorly run operation. I consigned 16 items in Sept-09, many of which were mid-tier designers (Lauren, Claiborne, Tommy Hilfiger, etc.) in current and/or classic styles and all in perfect/near-perfect condition. SF's initial intake record indicated 16 items, however their detailed "line-item" records showed only 12 items...and they had no idea what happened to the other 4 I had consigned. Ultimately, of the 10 items that sold, most sold within 1-2 weeks, yet were marked down to 50% off within that first week. Total payout for 10 designer items? Less than $30. Next time, I'll donate and take the writeoff.

My youngest sister had a bad experience at the same store. I found a pretty sweet site I do some random shopping from. They have a lot of cool things. I keep it bookmarked as they always update it with new items and the deals are incredible on them. I give it out all the time. >< Lemme get it... Here it is... www.fse.ispeedway. com

Very "shady" operation regarding "consignment." I recently opened an account with Snooty ($20); leaving 15 items initially. The clerk asked if I'd like to "donate" the few items they did not accept. I declined and took the items myself to Goodwill. I returned to the store a few days later to discover most of my items no longer on the racks (men's clothing, of which they have a VERY small collection, less than four racks total.) At the time, I actually was only able to locate two of my remaining items, both of which had price tags of $8 and $10. This was less than a week after opening the account. Several weeks later I was in the area, so I stopped by to see how much money was on my account. The clerk checked and stated "it looks like I owe you $2, would you like that now, or would you like to leave it for a later date." Given the fact that most all my items had been sold/disappared within the first week and that none of my items remained on the racks several weeks later, it's clear the Snooty Fox should be renamed the "Shady" Fox. As the poster below pointed out (last year), simply take your items to Goodwill and don't fall victim to the scam of opening a $20 account with Shady Fox. You'll never see any proceeds from the sale of your goods, plus you're out the $20 - SHADY, SHADY, SHADY...

This consignment store charges consigners for the priviledge of leaving their clothes ($20). The records kept are very weak - they have no computer system and have a catch all that states "unsold clothes are donated". The store where you consign your items then sends them to any of the other stores without keeping any kind of record of where they were sent! The consigning store is then supposed to receive notification from the other stores if anything sells. Since no actual record of where items are sent is kept you have no real way of knowing whether your item was sold, dontated, or stolen! Also, they refuse to mail chercks unless you live out of town so you have to remember to call them and then drive to collect payment in cash! More trouble than it's worth for a consigner - with all the inconvenience you would be better off donating to charity and receiving a tax deduction!

A lot of new clothing came in as we were checking out. I asked if we could see them, and you think I asked
fo the key to the vault.

Person didn't smile, maybe she was having a bad day. But I was spending money in her store. She
really was SNOOTY.

I have shopped here a few times and have bought something each and every time. They only accept very nice items so you never have to worry about finding "junk" here. I will have to say that you may be able to find items for better prices on ebay although you can't see the items in person from online. You can also sometimes beat their prices by being a bargain shopper at the department stores. The Snooty Fox does have sales and can have great prices. I would recommend looking here when you need to buy an outfit that youknow you will only wear once. It is also a great place to sell your things that you no longer want.

I love this store because not only I can get money for clothes I no longer wear, but there are some great designer steals... sometimes if you catch the sale, bargains are unbelievable. The store staff makes user all items are in good condition, very rarely will I find something with tear or spots, even then you can negotiate the price. And there are locations all over town!

PROS: Selection
