Me and my girlfriend went here looking for a fun place to skate and i saw that they had a laser tag facility so i thought that would be fun. We got there and skated for a half hour and decided to sign up for the laser tag. It wasn't a busy night so it ended up being just me vs her. Well after we had already paid $21 dollars for 2 people to just roller blade, we had to pay another 4 dollars EACH to play laser tag but i paid anyways thinking it'd be worth it. Well the first 3 vests a tried on didn't even work at all. The fourth one i tried on worked until i fired the gun once and then stopped working after that. My girlfriend also had problems with the vests she tried on so after a half hour passed of us trying to find working vests, i just said never mind lets go back to skating thinking i could get a refund of the 8 dollars i paid for laser tag and it would be no big deal since we didn't even get to play. Well after talking to 2 employees and I'm assuming the manager, he decided that he would refund me only TWO of the EIGHT dollars that i had paid. After getting upset at this i asked why i could only get two since we didn't even get to play and he said either like it or leave it. So, i asked one more time, why do i only get two? And he said, "FINE! GET OUT!" and literally kicked me and my girlfriend out of the place. 30 dollars, only 2 dollars were refunded, and we got kicked out after only half hour of skating and doing nothing wrong. This place sucked. End of story. I hope that they go out of business, SOON.

I grew up skating at this rink and still take my kids when I am in town. The place is super clean, the staff is very friendly and I always have a good time.

I love their birthday parties and my kids love the climbing wall.

Check it out!

SO FUN!Does anybody else think of the dingy yet offensively neon rinks of the 80's when they hear about roller skating...? I did, and I'll admit I had low expectations for the aesthetic appeal of this place. Skating is ALWAYS a blast, but the rink? Up until this place I'd found them sort of gross.Skate Zone 71 is NOT gross, thankfully - it's clean, bright, and safe and it has a pretty modern rink. I love the crazy pirate decor in the lobby and the old school laser tag gym. Climbing wall is impressively big, too, although as a real rock climber I don't personally go to skating rinks looking to train. It's for the kids. :)Bet it'd be fun for dates and the college crowd (they have adult skate nights) later at night, and fun for families in the evening / weekend days.Admission is cheap -- anywhere from 99 cents to $10 depending on the promotions (or lack there of) going -- and skate rental if you don't have your own is $3 for skates and $4 for blades. (Get skates... come on, this is about nostalgia, not winning races. Although now that I think about it I am quite nostalgic for the black and neon pink roller blades I had as a kid!)Anyway, good deal, good time.

Surprisingly new and clean inside, unlike the old skating rinks of yore. Liked the pirate decor. The rock-climbing wall is BIG!

We've been here twice now for private Eid parties, and they kept the music off, which I liked. The staff was pretty friendly, and they had skates for everyone. Their rollerblades were a little old and beat up, but they told me they're about to replace them. The toddler skates they had were new.

I went to skate zone 71 when the Muslim community rented it for our Eid celebration. It was a lot of fun, and I was pleased at how they always accomodate our preference of no music when we reserve the place. The children enjoy it a great deal. I did experience a problem with a staff member there who gave us a hard time about not getting an ink stamp, but eventually the problem got cleared up. Overall it was a nice experience with a lot of fun stuff inside, and I especially liked that they had kiddie-skates!

My son and his friends begged me to have his birthday party at Skate Zone 71 last week. It was GREAT!!! They did everything for us and made my son feel very special. From the front door to our party attendant the staff was excellent. The kids did roller skating, the big rock climbing wall and laser tag. We had a ball. All his friends are planning their next birthday party at Skate Zone 71. Did I mention the FREE Wi-Fi (great for parents too).

The WOW Family fun center is an OKAY place to go. They seems to be mostly a skating place, rather than an arcade. They dont really have a wide selection of arcade games or prizes like Magic Mountain and their lazer tag isn't as great.
