It's Okay nothing special  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

My late uncle had a Chevy Aveo bought new from this dealership. it needed body work and repair. The body shop man was nice, but the repair service was not. I tried to contact the main person regarding the timing belt for this car that GM would pick up the tab for, if it was under a certain mileage, etc. I never heard back from him. End result, to fully repair this car would cost too much so it was written off and transferred to Ganley.

My advice 2 things, If you bought an Aveo new, get rid of it before it's time to change the timing belt. (GM recommends the belt be checked at 30000 miles and replaced at 60000). If it breaks it will damage the engine in the process.

Second, if you use Ganley, stick with them until the warranty runs out and then go elsewhere for auto repair. Because of this experience I will not buy a Chevy or ever patronize Ganley Chevy again.

I have been getting my car serviced with Ganley Chevy for quite some time and have many friends that get there car serviced as well. I have always had an excellent experience. WELL EDUCATED GM AND ASE CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS.

They have always had bad staffing and have been ripping off the public for several years and the service depts are normally filled with bad attitudes and never deliver a quality product. I actually gav them another shot in Lakewood with my vehicle ( repair ) and the service manager was extremely difficult and hostile to work with. If the sign say's "Ganley" Do not shop or take your vehicle there regardless of what location it is. They don't appreciate your business and never will. I just hope more people share their terrible experiances about Ganley.

Bad Experience - Car Purchase in June, 2008 - Bad Engine Already!  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

No you did not meet my expectations! I expected honest service!

I brought a 1998 ford explorer in June, 2008. I found out about two months later that it had a bad engine that will cost at least $3400. Your spokesperson said that this car was sold as is. You basically misled the consumer when you put AS IS on a car with a bad engine! It is clearly obvious that your company does not have any integrity.

I am asking for the second time that you call to make arrangements for the return of this vehicle. I am making payments on a car that you sold knowing full well that it had major engine problems! I am notifying consumer affairs and also any other agencies that deal with bad business practices. I will also be highlighting your dealership's name in big bold letters to the Internal Revenue Service when I file my losses on this car.

Great Dealership to deal with  5 Star Rating - World class

I bought a Chevy Aveo here last year and just love it! My salesman Mike was awesome and followed up with me after the sale a number of times to make sure things were going well with the car and to see if I had any questions, problems, etc.

Amazing  5 Star Rating - World class

This dealership was amazing. I've purchased Plenty of cars here and there service is like no other. i have takin my car to serpentine and pat o Brian and i never was happy with the service or sales people who like to pull a fast one on you. This place is #1 in Cleveland and they do show it. They have been around for a while and they have experience. I've never had a problem there! I highly recommend this dealership!

Financing  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

A friend of mine purchased a car from Ganley. The finance person Heidi pulled a fast one on him and me. Watch what you sign with her. She'll say one thing and do something totally different. If I were you I would not deal with her or them. BUYER BEWARE. The sales people were excellent and very straight forward.

The service department at Ganley Chevrolet is a nightmare! I should have left as soon as I walked in the door. The service writer had an attitude to begin with and did not listen to what I was trying to tell him my car was doing. I ended up getting my car back with the same problem I took it in with-- gee, maybe if he would have listened to me it would have been fixed.

Ganley Chevrolet earned our trust and respect with the first car we purchased from them. We had no problems with the car or with the dealer and were very happy with the purchase. We went back and purchased another car last year and have had nothing but headaches surrounding their mechanics department. It took several attempts to repair our car over 3 months and I've had the car back several times since then. They haven't been the nicest to deal with.

We have purchased 2 cars from this dealer and I'm here to tell you, have your car serviced somewhere else. They had our car for two months, waiting on a part. We could not believe the poor service we received there.
