For my daughter's 4th birthday, we had over 25 kids and their parents to a private showing of The Princess and the Frog this past weekend at Colony Square Theaters in Lebanon, Ohio. If you are entertaining a big crowd this is the way to go -- lots of seating and the price was right. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating; they showed up early to help us host our party before the theater's normal hours, they worked with us on a space that let the kids run around; they allowed us to bring in our own "birthday food" but opened the concession stand for anybody who wanted to buy popcorn. The party was a huge success, and I could not be more grateful to Jason and the crew!

You know if you are so dissatisfied with the place, don't go. You would think that after 10 years you would figure it out. It is your choice to go there. Instead of complaining, go to the bigger, more expensive theatres. Anymore all people want to do is complain. Remember the ole saying "you get what you pay for"..

No matter how many times I've been there over the past 10 years they always have bad sound in the theater itself. Either the bass is turned up so loud you can't hear the words (Pirates of the Carribean) or it's turned so low you can't hear the words or music (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls) I could go on and on about the movies I've seen in there that are horrible. That being said there is one small movie room on the far right that has good sound and since there's only about seven rows of seats it has good visuals as well. If you're lucky you get to sit in there.
And it doesn't matter how often you complain to management they won't turn it up or they barely turn it up.
If you know the movie is going to be good I suggest going to the movie theater by Kings Island or the one behind Wild Oats in the Fields of Ertel ;) They both have awesome seating and if you know the right time to go you can totally get the room to yourself.

Now that they have expanded, they are much better. You do not have to go upstairs to the restroom. The restrooms are clean and large. No slow lines at the restroom like before. The theatres are clean. The staff is friendly. The food lines get long and there isn't a great food selection but it's enough. The sound system and screens are not the highest quality but its a great place to see a family movie. Parking is average. They do not have online ticket sales.

PROS: good price
CONS: nothing special

This is a small, but clean movie theater. And it doesn't cost a lot to go there. You could take the whole family when you go. They show all the latest movies.
