French Street Cafe

The other reviews are spot on. I love stopping by on my way to Kohl's or Borders. French St.is now open till 3 p.m. Sundays, & the promotion today (Sun.) was free coffee with any purchase. I just finished a delicious half lobster roll on French bread (your choice of bread) as big as a reg. one anywhere else) with kettle chips & pickle. The server even put on a fresh pot of coffee for me to have for free though it was 5 min. b4 closing (!) The pastries are beautiful, unique and delish; as are the sandwiches and quiches; the coffee by the pound is amazing. Be sure to ask for sandwich and drink club cards to earn freebies. BTW: they cater too and sell wine by the bottle; just wish they had a web site since I live 30 min. away. Five stars.

French Street Cafe is a homey and rustic cafe with old wooden floors. They have dining areas both downstairs and upstairs as well as outside when the weather permits. They have many different coffee drinks available as well as sandwiches, soups, and salads. Oh, did I mention the French Pastries? They are the best. If I am going to feel guilty about the fat and calories~~I would much rather indulge here than anywhere else. Give it a try~~You won't be disappointed.
