This store has over 10,000 titles on DVD available for rent (yes, I asked how many at the store) and a great gaming section with Wii/PS2/PS3/360 sections with all the big hits and a great catalog of older titles. When there is a movie that the store doesn't have, there is ALWAYS the offer to order it to get it in...not just for me to buy it, but if I just want to rent it once. Not sure how much better it can get.

Pros: Nearly UNLIMITED selection, special orders even if you only want to rent the movie (making it more like actually UNLIMITED), same-day holds if the movie/game is in stock at the time of phone call, friendly staff, locally-owned, great prices (lower than BB or HV), clean & well-maintained store, on and on...

...and I've been to quite a few of them across the country.

Not sure what Tallick is talking about concerning the selection as this store has over 10,000 titles on DVD available for rent (yes, I asked how many at the store). As for the membership requirements, they no longer require a landline, but do require a credit/debit card with a MC or VISA logo if you don't have a landline. I know that it seems antiquated to even ask about a landline, but, seriously, how else do they verify the information you give is correct? While there are still honest people out there, it's the ones that aren't that give cause to requirements such as these.

The selection of videos and games are incredibly slim and their requirements to get a card are obnoxious. you can't even rent from them without a landline (in this day and age, that IS ridiculous as many people only have a cellphone.) as well as a major credit card.

This business has lived through many many big name competitors! The prices are good and the staff is friendly. Their selection of DVDs Video's and games are up to date. This is currently the only video rental store in town that I'm aware of -- and they've proved why they can out live the Big Store bullies!
